HEY EVERYBODY ITS ME, (4) and today we review ..... mumble mumble mumble ...the movie !!!!!!!

Hey british people , when making a movie can i give you some advice ? .... dont use a mask that the actor has to speak out of .....i mean if you cant tell they are speaking then dub in their voice AFTER filming, so its clear and the audience can understand what they say ........ other wise you get a conversation between a lady in the kitchen and a lady out side the door of mumbles ....

the "tooth fairy" here looked cool, BUT you NEVER should have had her talk .... seriously .... the hammer as her weapon....cool ,also good job ....the mumbling thing ....no ..shame on you ...

  • mummble mumble mumble .... WHAT thats tooth fairy lady ? Maybe if you could open your mouth that would help ? ... "mumble mumble " oh okay never mind then ....-

i mean over all good job, audio is the killer of film though and you always need to be careful how you deal with it ..... the score was well done with the sound scaping in general and the rest of the film was competent lighting etc was fine .......honestly i dont expect much from the england land people in the way of movies anymore especially horror lol... asians know horror , americans know how to attempt to copy everyones horror .....but british people .... man.... A for effort as always .....lol...

3 /10.

The main woman character is dumb as dirt. People really aren't that stupid, are they ? No script at all ...I give it a 2 for the tooth fairy costume !

What nice young teeth you have

Warning: Spoilers
The film opens with a disfigured woman at a remote house late at night wanting to come inside. The owner refuses as the woman breaks in and uses a hammer to club the owner and remove her teeth. The police arrive. Some time later a group of teachers take a trip to the same house with some kids making it a working vacation. Sammy (Paula Coiz) who has mobility issues is first introduce so would be our final girl. The kids visit the historic forest adjacent to the home where the first settlers came to England. The group decides to go to town to wet their whistle leaving Sammy home alone to babysit. Neil (Genna Loskutnikov) is the stud in the group as Sammy willed him to drop the towel. Meanwhile he is giving Erin (Giedre Jackyte) some real cozy pool lessons. The radio lets us know several local mental health patients have escaped as our lady with a hammer and screwdriver shows up to perform some extractions.

From what I gathered she wasn't really the Tooth Fairy per se, just a crazy woman. She had no supernatural powers. The film was predictable. She could have at least knock out one kid's tooth. It lacked good horror and dialogue.

Guide: No swearing, sex, or subtitles. Male butt nudity.

I don't know how it's done in the uk,but a bunch of teachers ditching children (FOUR!!! FOUR KIDS AND FOUR ADULTS! ONE KID PER ADULT!!) to get drunk would end up.with fired teachers. And there is a homicidal maniac running about, and the teachers try to save EACH OTHER. The children were an AFTERTHOUGHT. "Hop-along" cassidy, our scrappy final girl lady, keeps alternating which lef is actually injured, and at times runs quite well for someone who was on two crutches. The only "main" character you don't want to die is the blonde preteen. She seemed sensible. And speaking of....this MASK!!! I had to put on subtitles because i couldn't understand a word the "tooth fairy" was saying under that fixed mask!!! No explaination of why she looked like a melted candle either. You know how.some people can just spout nonsense all day just to hear the sound of their own voice? Well, the film makers did that with this movie--just made a movie for the sake of making a movie. No plot necessary. A trip to the dentist would have been more enjoyable.

Awsome

Warning: Spoilers
10/10 would recommend if your in for a good laugh. If your buying/renting for the scare there is none.... My favorite part is when sammy (main character) is getting chased into the bathroom and the toothfairy is right behind her then the door cracks open and the toothfairy sticks her finger through a hole in the door waits a bit then comes into the bathroom. Overall the movie is hilarious... Would not recommend for little kids because of the toothfairys mask, because I know I would be terrified if I seen it at a young age... The actors could have put a bit more effort but from what they put in is perfectly fine for this movie...

A somewhat problematic if still enjoyable enough franchise entry
kannibalcorpsegrinder19 March 2023
Taking a trip out to the countryside, a woman joins her friends at a mountainside cabin to enjoy a holiday together, but she soon comes to believe a stranger that's shown up at the house is there to threaten the children staying with them and tries to save everyone when the intruder becomes malevolent.

This one turned out to be somewhat of an odd change of pace in the series. Among the brighter spots here comes from the generally intriguing setup that offers a fine motivation for everything. As has become a tradition in the series, the trip out into the countryside and getting everyone out to a remote house where the being can begin the rampage offers the kind of comforting familiarity while also doing what it needs to get to know the group quite well. From the interactions at the house to the bar they frequent in the middle of town, there's a lot to like here while also getting enough on the group to make them likable. As well, there's also a lot of fun here with the attack scenes which are quite brutal. The early attack on the mother during the flashback is a fine starting point, while the attack on the house where it ambushes the couple getting out of the car and confronting the killer on the driveway serves this well enough while dealing with the assault on the house. Alternating nicely between ambush encounters to generate a shocking kill as well as hard-hitting torture scenes designed to inflict trauma on the mouth for tooth extraction, these are generally fun and focus on enough to like here that it has some positives to make it enjoyable. There are some problems to be had with this one. The biggest issue with this one is the rather bizarre change of course that occurs where it changes up the purpose of the villain and their origins. Rather than being a spirit summoned by a cursed book, this one changes it around to be a masked human killer who has a tooth fetish and had electron an insane asylum. This change of origin status is quite confusing as the original remark about it escaping from an asylum was only through one line of dialog so obscure it's easy to miss so the entire purpose of this being tied into the franchise seems flimsy and incredibly tenuous at best. The other big detriment here is the generally sluggish first half that doesn't have much going on. Like most of the other entries here, it takes so long to get going as nearly everything here keeps the action off-screen which includes the group getting together or the exploits of the killer lurking around the house. However, rather than doing anything all they do is continue to make phone calls of a threatening nature towards her which is fine on its own but is repeated often enough that it wears out its welcome without doing anything extra alongside the idea. Those are really all that hold this one back.

Rated Unrated/R: Graphic Violence and Graphic Language.
