Sex & Nudity

  • In the opening scene, the boy is looking through his binoculars and scans up a house where there is a girl facing away putting on a bra. The boy's father's fiancé leans over and exposes her breast embarrassing the boy. The breast is shown. While not the center of this story, as is typical of three 15-year-old boys, several discussions end up including or mentioning the following: vaginas, crotch, anus, getting action, calling each other pussy, talk of words sounding like ejaculation, feeling a girl up. In one scene, one of the boys grabs his crotch and pulls up several times. A high school girl gives a high school boy mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. A boy accidentally sees a girl pee in the woods. The movie only shows her unzipping, then squatting behind a log. The boy turns his head. In a touching scene around a campfire, each of the four high school students admits they have not had sex yet and several admit they have not yet kissed. The girls tells everyone that this is fine, they are only fifteen.

Violence & Gore

  • A boy falls from the roof of his house, though not actually shown. He is bleeding from his head. A duck is shot and has its neck snapped.

Profanity

  • There are approximately 30 swears, including one F-bomb. An average of 1 curse word every 2 minutes or so. Only during intense scenes is the swearing also intense.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The girls confesses that she came home and walked in on her dad doing drugs. There is talk about a cousin smoking weed. A bag of white crystals is found in the car and the high school students discuss what drug it could be, but in the end discover it is only rock candy.
