I was exited to see that a documentary about the Tokyo music scene has been produced. Most of the documentaries about Japanese popular culture are mostly filled with tons of clichés and this one isn't the exception!
This video (because we could not call it a documentary) lacks of a guide line. This is probably what it makes it so difficult to watch. It is hard to understand what it is trying to tell from the beginning to the end because no voice over guides you through the video and the montage is simply horrible.
Tokyo has an incredibly culture and many expert lives there and could have perfectly fitted into this video to build up a guide line and to bring interesting facts and things to say. But I guess those who made this video didn't have the knowledge on the subject to find out people to help them to make something interesting, efficient and respectful for the underground music scene in Tokyo.
They really missed a great opportunity to talk about a music world that is full of creativity and talent.
