All fluffed up

Family Meeting deals with the sensitive issue of fluffies, or fluffy in the singular, and it does so in a humorous way through a mock court trial that would make To Kill a Mockingbird proud.

Anyway, all credit to the Bluey production crew for keeping the series alive during the pandemic. This episode debuted just over two years ago. Anyway, I'm finally catching up on Bluey episodes to start the new year and they're a lot of fun amidst the gloom, despair, desperation, pessimism of politicians who want to peddle in these things. Anyway, all credit to the Bluey production team for their optimism.

Enjoyable episode

The Heelers hold a mock courtroom trial to resolve a minor dispute.

This is a funny, lighthearted sketch that is essentially one long flatulence joke, but it does it in fun way that involves all the characters making an amusing contribution.

Subject matter aside, the fact that the family resort to this method to ascertain the truth of the incident is a funny concept in itself. Plus the staging of the trial is enjoyable.

There is only so long I can stay interested in a group of cartoon dogs talking about "fluffys", but to the credit of the writers, voice performers and animators, they manage to keep it amusing for the duration of the sketch. It is a personal favourite of my 8 year old daughter.
