This is the best episode of the series so far. Scheduled to coincide with Pearl Harbor Day. Well written. Connects on an emotional level. Good characters and development. Overall a good story.

Honouring Pearl Harbour

Warning: Spoilers
This week the world mentioned the 80 years anniversary of the attack of Pearl Harbour that was big turning point in the WW2. Even tho this kind of story was done before on Hawaii five-0 and on NCIS. NCIS Hawaii couldn't get away from doing it when it's the 80 years anniversary and the show is about the Navy in Hawaii.

I thought the episode was done well, the plot was interesting and I loved the way they dealt with racism and linking it to then and now. It didn't feel like we were preached it was showing the problem and how we can deal with it. I'm not a fan of family story in action shows because the teens are always shown as annoying and hate their parents job, but this time I thought the point of view of the children was good and helped the story and also helped to strengthen the lead character.

Some issues I do have like, no one in higher ups in the Department of defence knew that this guy was a former OSS operative (now CIA) in the WW2? The medical examiner couldn't figure out the weapon that killed the dead guy?

In the end the episodes was one of the better episodes this season.
