After many years, Marie is finally pregnant, but her happiness is marred by a series of pornographic, defamatory images visualised in The 'Libelles,' the hunt begins to find out who's responsible.
Another immaculately well made, incredibly watchable episode, so much happening, a great story to focus on, a huge scandal, with some sublime acting once again.
Definitely some moments of amusement again, The Madames have been a joy throughout, they were so bad once again, but they paled in comparison to Provence and Josephine, the pair were so horrid. Roxane Duran was terrific I thought.
I felt a little sorry for Lombard here, a great friend to Marie since the start, very much sidelined, hopefully she'll come good for her.
It really did end on quite a sour note, with a forlorn looking Marie looking a little lost, seeming quite lonely.
I very much don't want this series to end.
8/10.
