Sex & Nudity

  • Some people are bare chested.
  • Some scenes have female nudity. However, their naked bodies are not shown in full details, as breasts are either blurred or covered over with stuff like hair or some objects.
  • Hermes and Aphrodite are romantically attached to each other. In one scene, they are seen kissing passionately.

Violence & Gore

  • Most of the scenes of violence taking place during the first hour of the movie, involve either swordfighting or some people being beaten down. Several people are killed with swords, mostly during battle scenes, but nothing graphic.
  • Two times, King Minos threatens a man to kill him with a sword.
  • It is mentioned several people are gonna get eaten by Minotaur.
  • Hermes finds a place filled with skeletons of people who have been killed and eaten by Minotaur.
  • Several people on boat are almost hit by multiple arrows.
  • Huge stones are launched at a small town, and hit multiple house.
  • Several ships are burned down. We don't see anybody dying.
  • Several people are shown to be in great pain in various ways during the "Hell scene". Several men/tree are heard crying in pain as they have their tree sticks ripped off. Several men/tree are burned. Several women are also killed; One is killed with sword, one is stepped on, and several are boiled in pots and eaten. These people have to endure the same pain day after day.

Profanity

  • Words which would mean "fool" and "idiot" are uttered. "God" and "hell" are uttered in religious matter.

  • The villainous King Minos and Minotaur may appear to be scary, and the scenes taking place in Hell may be disturbing for younger children.

  • It is fully implied Hermes and Aphrodite would have been making love, as Aphrodite is later seen having given birth to a son.

Violence & Gore

  • Minotaur is shown bleeding in various places of his body, as Hermes fights him with his sword. And he, and his mother, are shown to be killed by getting rubles of the crumbling palace falling over them. Nothing graphic, just some blood.
  • A palace is burned down.
  • After a long fight between a man and a tall creature, the latter one is hit by multiple arrows, and have rubles falling over him as the Hell collapses.
