Duel Citizenship (#5.5)
ComedyFan201023 July 2015
Warning: Spoilers
It doesn't make sense that it took Robin that long to decide to have a dual citizenship if she knew about the option. I mean if it hurt her so much to not be Canadian (which I get, I will be one forever, we are awesome!) that is the best idea. Still it was a fun story and even Barney realized that Canada is great.

It is also surprising that only after marriage Marshall became all about Lily. They seemed like that from the start. But it is common problem to lose your friend to the one they date/marry, and it was done pretty sweet with that little record book. I don't see why Lily can't be fun, she is a cool character, but her wanting to pee all the time was actually funny.

A So So Episode
slightlymad2213 January 2015
The TV channel I'm rewatching this show on, missed the previous episode out, I'm guessing it was too rude to be show at 13:30 on an afternoon with a title like "The sexless inkeeper" , but I don't appear to have missed anything.

Plot In A Paragraph: Ever since Marshall and Lily got married, Ted feels that his best friend (Marshall, not Barney) has turned from being a "me" to a "we". That's why Ted is so excited when Marshall agrees to recreate one of their crazy college road trips to Chicago's Gazola's pizza place, which is closing down. But this trip is not quite what Ted had in mind as Marshall invites Lily. Meanwhile, Robin may be deported unless she becomes a US citizen. Robin, a patriotic Canadian, isn't sure if she wants to become an American. Barney, doesn't understand why anyone wouldn't want to be American, helps Robin become his version of an American.

The Barney/Tobin subplot is fun, but the Ted/Marshall and Lilly is silly

Marshall kidnapped in a robe 🤣🤣

Ted kidnaps Marshall still in his hotel robe. Anytime on TV you see a man just in a robe, it's just too funny. Marshall's robe was particularly funny because it was kind of small. And then when he had to bend down to pick up the car keys... Lol. Main storyline was kind of rubbishy. Not one of the great episodes, but there are moments!
