The rakweed spores escape out through the skylight, and the plant replicates at an alarming rate, Luke's health goes downhill at an alarming rate, and Sarah Jane decides it's time to confront Leaf and Tree.
I rather enjoyed the first episode, this second wasn't quite as good, but still an amusing ride.
The idea of The Earth being taken over by an alien plant, previously explored in Seeds of Doom, they could have ramped it up a little, still they had a young audience to consider.
Lots of action sequences, and just as Doctor Who did when it eliminated the sonic screwdriver, boy genius Luke is taken out of the equation, forcing Luke and Rani to look for the solution.
I wonder if the wonderful Elisabeth Sladen knew what she was signed up to here, great seeing her covered from head to foot in gunge, she must have had fun with this one.
6/10.
