While season 1 struggled to find its feet with episodes of inconsistent quality, iCarly starts its second season with a great episode. The jokes land well in this episode. My favorite was the "Yep, yep, yep, we threw a funeral". The Carly/Freddie plotline landed well and highlighted the bond between the two friends with a "complicated romantic history". The short Millicent/Spencer plotline was short, but Triplett and Trainor really worked well together and had great chemistry. It's especially good to see that Triplett really grows in her role. The Harper/Dutch-line didn't really hit for me until the end. All in all a great episode which shows promise for the rest of the season. Pearl was great too.

Very good start to season 2

This episode continues on the adult path of season 1, and although it would be premature to call the writing Woody Allen-ish yet, it seems to be heading that way (everyone has their own neuroses). Two guest characters here - the charmingly nerdy Pearl and the charmingly flaky Emily - show potential; I'd like to see them turn up in more episodes. And Harper looks fab. Bonus points for the "Say Anything..." reference. 8/10.
Predictable story-line in this episode. I Miss Dan Schneider.

A similar story-line we've seen before. They repeat same jokes like any other show on streaming / Television. Same PC garbage over and over. It doesn't have the vibe and the magic of the original iCarly. Without Dan Schneider - It stinks.
