Persecution vs Prosecution

Warning: Spoilers
A good example of why persecution of villains can lead to giant miscarriages of justice. Just because a man is bad doesn't mean he's a murderer and the ends don't justify the means.

A Great Episode to end the time the show had Perfect Cast and characters

I like Law & Order UK a lot but only until this episode, as the change in actors and characters was terrible. This episode is especially great. The hard work of a police officer who is willing to review his case and correct past mistakes is superb.

James Steel. I'm arresting you on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.

Policemen were looking for a son of a fellow officer whose cellphone is located near the river bank. When the dead body fell down from a storm drain, the research sadly was over. At first detectives began questioning local people who belong to National Front, because of a note found in victim's pocket. Then they tried to know something more about the boy's life: he was a street dancer and his coach was previously accused of being a pedophile. Anyway, after another non- white boy (indian) was killed in the same way with a note, they cut the teacher loose. The killings are not racially but religion related, because a black man wanted sinners' death (one of the boy was addicted to pornography, the other was a two-bit thief) and he took credit of other murders happened in the past. Being the prosecutor, Steele sent to prison the wrong person years before, so he's the one who had to face Justice System this time. But he knows how to get away with it.

The argument occurred between Law (Steel) and Order (Brooks and Devlin) in this episode reminds me the debate that occurred inside a company between sales marketing and manufacturing: there could have been issues, but a power can't subdue the other.
