Some nice byplay between Miranda, Steve and Rebecca here as they try not to fall into the "interfering grandparents" trap.Declan and Bridget struggling with parenthood is a one scene idea stretched out into a C-plot and without any payoff unless they're actually going somewhere with this.Love Steve's sarcastic reaction to Paul and Rebecca's engagement.
The Toadie plot line doesn't really go anywhere either so it's hard to comment on.It's not really clear what anyone's plans are.
Lovely little scene between Lou and Harry;nice to see Lou slipping into the role of mentor and his assessment of Paul was spot on.The scene of Harry at the lakeside is a nice moment too but Kate and Sophie should probably make the effort to build some bridges with him instead of just outvoting him.The last scene hopefully sets up some sort of resolution.
