A must see for young athletes and their parents
bakerbill12 January 2013
This movie exceeded all my expectations.

Every parent and aspiring athlete should watch. It is both eye opening and inspiring. In today's world it takes a gifted athlete, a committed support group and a lot of luck to make it in D-1 sports let alone the pro level. Cody clearly has the first two and only time will tell about the third. Far too many parents see a college scholarship as an inexpensive way for their kids to attend college. There are way too many examples of too much pressure put on children to play and practice as a way for parents to relive their unsuccessful childhood athletic dreams. The Keith's commitment to Cody works because of both his athletic prowess and their commitment to give him the best opportunities possible. I will be pulling hard for Cody to realize his dreams!

Great movie and great kid
I watched the movie and thought not of Cody playing football but his opportunity to serve the Lord. He and his family are committed to the practice and followings of our creator. My question is after all the hype of the movie why would Cody not want to transfer to a school where he has a chance at playing D1 starting QB. He is at East Carolina and will never be a starter like his dream. Why sit behind a star when he can become a star. How about some of the new D1 schools starting up? One is at University of NC at Charlotte where he would be a great fit or even Mercer University, Stetson University, Kennesaw State, Houston Baptist University or ODU. Great movie it just looks to me that he has lost his passion for football and may need a new path.
