Jacques Tati's style
searchanddestroy-116 March 2024
What a good and short and brilliant little French movie, and shot in a very interesting way, a so unusual angle to describe, analyze the modern way of life. It shows a glass tower near Paris, in the very close suburb, a skyscraper with some window cleaners who see the company employees working in the tower offices and so busy with their jobs, their harsh business that they don't even notice the window cleaners, outside, hanging in the air, in their aerial bucket. Yes, it loooks like the Jacques Tati's cinema. Sound, no dialogues, and a very accurate metaphor of the modern civilization. A petty must see.
