the storyline was not focused at all

How regrettable that we were not moved at all 😞The storyline was not focused and featured lots of distracting points that killed the beautiful screenplay

DELICIOUS

---Very creative to zoom in on a woman who fakes prophecies for the sake of money.

We enjoyed Blessing Jessica Obasi, she went above and beyond praying in tongues, shaking her head left and right, pretending to be in a trance; the excitement was too much😆

As always Deyemi Okanlawon and Toyin Abraham never miss an opportunity to ace their roles

-Prophetess sent a great note to guard ourselves and have discernment when we visit spiritual leaders, "not everyone that says Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of God'.

Ajoke was a great illustration of many scammers that capitalize on people's emotions in order to 'predict' what itching ears want to hear

BLAND

---Prophetess is a comedy, hence, the editing has to be inviting and entertaining.

The color grading was really bright and failed to accentuate the characters' faces and costume design. There weren't many playful elements aside from the social media's comments

-The dialogues were rather cheesy, not humorous or inciting us to reflect on the sensitive topic of false prophets.

Actors' performances weren't natural and a little over-exaggerated such as Stan Nze and Uzor

-Though the title of the movie is Prophetess, after the climax, the story completely shifted to the football match as it became more about the players, coaches, and fans.

We also didn't understand why it was necessary for Ajoke to be chronically ill when that had little impact on the film.
