A serial with a powerful message - importance of family - jalebicoated with delicate humour. First things first, all the characters including Gullu's which was a shorter one, made their presence felt. Apart from brilliant portrayal of love affair of Bela and Basim, the friendship chemistry between Basim and Rocket set the stage on fire. Add to it the tarrka of dialogues especially of Sajjo, Iffi, and Ashiq Hussain ADVOCATE, what a delight! Bau Ji's role could never have been this good if it was played by any other actor than the most charming Qavi Khan sahb. Finally, kudos to the writer Saima Akram Chaudhry, who did a fantabulous job. From the romantic dialogues of B&B to the powerful emotional, and comic dialogues of Bau ji, everything she wrote was epic. Touch of corona was a cherry on top. Finale was also so well crafted. The only thing this drama lacked in was it's social media marketing and promotion which made it look criminally underrated. All in all, this serial is a treat to watch; a stress-buster in these tough times.

Slow starter must watch

This season is an ultimate blend of emotions, romance, comedy and family bonding. It is a must watch. Though, the starting 3-4 episodes are slow but the pace the season gains afterwards is amazing. My favourite so far has been the mixture of Punjabi and Urdu. All the love from India.

Finally I am watching a realistic drama series that's light and fun to watch and also giving a very powerful message for younger generation about how to stand against your greedy parents and to care for your grandparents. Acting of Bela and superstar Qavi khan is outstanding. Noor ul Hassan is king of funny comments.

I am someone who usually watches pakistani dramas but i have never loved any drama like ishq jalebi, he reason is even i dont know, there are so many wonderful dramas but ISHQ JALEBI hit different. The performance of the whole cast is just remarkable, no one i repeat no one could have played their parts as perfectly as Wahaj, Madiha, and the others did. Bauji, advocate sb, sajjo, and each one of them are the perfect cast for their respective roles. This drama has a different vibe, it will make you laugh and cry simultaneously.

This drama is a roller coaster of emotions. The cast, the story line, the characters, the writing, the directing, the production value, the execution, the bond , the chemistry every single thing which is needed to create a masterpiece is present in this drama. For me, personally i think(not trying to compare and exaggerate) after watching so many dramas i feel this one was undoubtedly the best one i watched so far. Every cast member nailed in potraying their individual characters, they all sat on their characters so well is very fascinating for me personally. One more thing the drama has are the veteran actors from the industry. From qavi sahab, to noor ul hassan sir to, isra ghazal mam to hina bayat, to kashif mehmood sir, to mehmood aslam sir. Not only the veterans who acted well, the recent generation actors like wahaj ali, madiha, usama, and maryaam did excellennt in their own individual characters. Wahaj ali has been one of my all time favourite actor, for since god knows how long. He can potray evey character to beautifully without any complain. Wahaj ali potrayed the character basim sooo welll, i literally don't have words to express how proud i am for wahaj, undoubtely one of the best performance of this year. Madiha imam i love you, bella has my whole heart, whenever she cries my heart sobbed for her, whenever she smiled, my heart smiled as if i just saw the most satifying thing ever. Usama and maryaam without you two i cannot imagine anybody else playing vicky and esha, i don't want to think only. Rocket the asset of this drama, you nailed it. Every single soul in the world needs a friend like basim. You helped basim in every situation possible. Thanks for doing so, love u rocket. Sajjo mami your sialkoti accent will kill me some day, i literally cannot stop laughing for 2-3 minutes after your scenes. Advocate aashiq hussain please can you take my case, its about the request of ishq jalebi season 2, you need to win this case at any cost pleaseeeee. Khala ammi i love you from the bottom of my heart, never seen such a caring person in my life. Bauji sorry i don't have any words for you, i don't have the aukat to praise your talent. It will be too much for me to say. You are brilliant. All in all, the point is that this is the best drama. Every individual should watch this drama atleast once in their life, and yess in the end we want season 2 at any cost and i think their is a fair amout of space also in the end.

O gosh....just binged watched it in 3 days....literally last night i spent whole night watching it ....so much emotions....and i laughed so hard...i literally cried...got annyoyed...laughed and every thing else...and writing of this drama was so good...and character of sajo ....that sialkoti touch in her language...only punjabi can understand how much we loved it ...and character of qavi sahb made me cried so much...and bella basim and vicky were love ....😍😍😍😍

I love love love the show. Madiha Imam is such an underrated actress and this show is criminallu under rated. Wonderful job by everyyyyone in the cast, writer, director, production team. EVERYONE! Basim and Bela are most adorable couple ever, usama and maryam noor as wicky and eesha are too endearing as well. For me, the best actors in this play were Aashiq Hussein (Noor ul hassan) and Sajjo (Irsa Ghazal) plus baoo ji (late mr. Qavi khan). What tremendous performances by these three. Wahaj and Madiha look sooo adorable in this series that its just beyond words. A must watch for all Pakistani drama viewers.

Good comedy, love story was a drag though

I binge watched this series and loved the comedy and spontaneity by the characters of Sajo and Aashiq Hussain. Both actors are native Punjabi speakers, hence their dialogues in Punjabi were delivered in an excellent manner.

Ishq jalaibi is not just a drama... It's an addiction. I am watching it 4th time without getting bored. The story is amazing. Each and every person had played their role with complete perfection. From bau ji to ashiq Hussain,Bela, basim, rocket and infact shakoora; every character was on fire..it's the most amazing drama I've ever seen and it's ost is simply outstanding.. believe me I don't have words to share my love for the whole star cast. Will be waiting to watch it's season 2 or same cast with another story....!! The perfect on screen couple #Madiha Imam and #Wahaj Ali their chemistry is on the next level. Bela,Basim #Belsim... Loved this drama.

Awesome Romantic Comedy

Worth watching series. Seriously i have never watched such a beautiful family show ever in my life. Highly recommend it to those who loves to watch family shows with no vulgarity & abusive language. I would say its a MASTERPIECE . Everyone should watch it. I am in love with basim & bela . The whole cast is super awesome. Everyone did their best. But I must say Wahaj Ali is such a talented actor.

It's a family drama with no vulgarity nor cheap jokes. It's really funny and has sweet and cute romance, amazing script.

It also teaches us how our words effect our children through light comedy instead of a serious tone.

The story line, the acting, the actors, especially the presence of mind of Wahaj Ali in the specific scenes are extraordinary and I have watched it more than three times.
