Spoiler Alert: Do not read on if you have not seen Season 3, Episode 13 of The CW's The Vampire Diaries, entitled, "Bringing Out the Dead."
Are you still breathing? Because I'm not so sure that I've regained full use of my lungs yet. Bravo, Joseph Morgan. That was one of the most compelling performances in the history of The Vampire Diaries and one of my favorite episodes ever.
It was like a scene out of Julius Caesar, watching Klaus fall at the hands of those he thought he could trust most: his family. It was an incredible scene, watching each Original inflict their own sense of revenge on their hybrid brother. And yet even though they were justified in their anger, I couldn't quite bear the thought of knowing how much pain Klaus was really in.
For as long as he's been alive, Klaus has sought acceptance. In the absence of...

Having won Tropfest in 2009 and various other festival accolades for her socially-conscious short films, it may come as a surprise that writer/director Genevieve Clay initially wanted to be on the other side of the camera. "I always wanted to act, and I never thought about directing at all," Clay says. "It wasn't until I decided to study filmmaking in order to be in everyone's short films so I could cut a reel for myself, that I discovered I liked making films. I was better at making them than being in them." Indeed Clay has proven herself to be a talented young filmmaker, taking out the top prize at last year's Tropfest for her inspiring film Be My Brother, a story about a young man with Down Syndrome which challenged social prejudices.

When it comes to inspiration, Nick knows who’s Boss!
Nick Jonas is gearing up to release new music from his solo side project, Nick Jonas & The Administration, and he recently sat down to talk with two surprise interviewers: his brothers, Joe and Kevin! The Jonai took over Radio Disney, in a segment that will air Dec. 12 and 13, and Nick revealed the inspiration behind his new group’s style: “I’m kind of modeling it after Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band,” he says.
“It’s kind of the look we were going for stylistically on the album cover and just the project in general,” Nick says. “He [Springsteen] pours so much passion and emotion into all of his songs every night, and I hope I can capture that too.”
Nick says part of that new style involves writing from personal experiences. He points to his band’s first upcoming single,...
