This clay animation short by a Japanese artist named Takena Nagao is filled with unsubtle sexuality (but no nudity) and plenty of gore involving the female title character in a tight dress, a business pig, and a stalker wolf. This guy Nagao seems to be the Quentin Tarantino of clay animation shorts! There is another short of his on YouTube called Chainsaw Maid which also has plenty of gore that-because of the clay-is very comical to me. Unfortunately, this short that I'm reviewing now is the only one of Nagao's that's listed here on IMDb. So I'll just say if you love offbeat things involving animation, Pussycat should fit the bill. And one more thing, this short is definitely not for children!

A claymation catgirl in a gory tale

Warning: Spoilers
A darkly entertaining claymation short by Takena Nagao, better known by his horror animation Chainsaw Maid.
At first glance, one might think this is going to be a picaresque short, perhaps a more adult version of stuff like Tex Avery's Red Hot Riding Hood (It even has its own lustful wolf) before turning into a gory thriller, with the titular pussycat being imprisoned by one of her lovers.
Like in Chainsaw Maid, the unpolished animation adds to the charm to the story, and I liked the little black comedy touch for the final confrontation.
I do have to agree with several of the Youtube comments saying the pig was creepier than the wolf. Pussycat should have killed him too at the end. (I want to believe she did that off-screen)
