Hitting it's stride!
Chrissylou_Carne27 January 2022
I thought this episode was one of the best of the series. Engaging and fun! Steve is a lovely character and I hope he stays in the show if it goes forward - would love to know how life pans out for him. Antony is comedy value as always and Carrie's new man has potential. Feeling sad now that there is only one more episode of this series to go! PS Who else noticed the Prada guy?!

Best thing about this reboot is...
snktrss27 January 2022
Steve is the sweetest guy. I never really cared for Miranda. Why did the writers have to do him dirty smh Carrie did not need to wear those shoes to do labour. Her and Lilly are the worse characters in this reboot. I don't mind Charlotte.

Pull your own strings

Loved this episode for a few reasons, the multiple storylines worked well together, the cast had great chemistry, and there were a few really solid laughs. Great scenes with almost all of the main cast interacting.

not leading to a successful ending
globalisationana28 January 2022
It's written as a filler episode , as if there were another seasons and i do t think there will be, so it leaves the series not quite ready for a final episode

I like charlotte but the storyline with the tampon is ridiculous. It's not such good deal and only i had fun with anthony nothing else was remarkable.

Che and miranda got ridiculous and i think the title is about then but it's not debated as such it's a bit weird how this relationship evolves.

I want it to work but doesn't in my opinion.

Outside of Miranda's Awfulness...
mishael5313 March 2022
Outside of Miranda's awfulness, this episode had glimmers of the old show. Raw, authentic, starting to talk about taboo topics normally not discussed. Moms dealing with daughter's periods and older women exploring menopause. And of course, the ever question of life after death both figuratively and literally. But for the love of all that is good, can Charlotte and Miranda stop being so over the top about everything???

Fun episode with great touches

Loved the episode, great to see the ensemble come together as they did. Not crazy about Che, but glad they're handling the relationship between Miranda and Steve maturely. More Anthony please!

And Just Like That.. They're back on form.
liamxconway27 January 2022
It's no secret this show had some teething problems when it started.

It has taken a little while for the show to find it's flow but over the last couples of weeks and todays episode - we are back!

Today's episode felt reminiscent of the original SATC whilst keeping true to changes they have made with AJLT.

It was also great to see all of the new cast members coming through with their own story lines. Now we know them and they are fully introduced to us, I'm excited to see where they will go with the finale and a season 2.

A mixed bag
nmottel27 January 2022
Three stars for the writers getting two things correct in this episode, Carrie's angst at removing her wedding ring, and the "girls" casually discussing menopause over lunch. The rest of the show was simply awful especially the cringe worthy scenes of Charlotte's parenting, Lily's ridiculous meltdowns, once level headed Miranda behaving like a shrieking banshee around Che, and more. I'm not certain why the infertility of the law professor and her husband is a side story nor why viewers should care.

And Just Like That... No Tampons Attached!
darryl-jason27 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
And just like that... I couldn't help but wonder if this episode was just a lesson for the ladies. It's like tampon city with nothing else attached! This episode should be sign-posted "No Guys Allowed!", and here I am, a guy watching it !

The conclusion from the previous episode is not how I expected this one to go. Nothing seems concrete with Miranda & Che, which I was determined to believe would be, but no.

Anyways, back to tampon city - and just like that... things couldn't get anymore embarrassing for Charlotte!

So, after 9 episodes in and only one more to go later... I'm still convinced we are gonna get the biggest surprise of our lives with Kim Cattrall appearing in the tenth and final episode. Im just sure of it!

Mind numbing

Sleeping inducing, dull, and painful. Everything seems so pointless. I really dont understand how everything will all come together in the final episode next week.

ADJUSTING
douglasjordane31 January 2022
TWO STORYLINES SEEM LESS CREDIBLE TO OVERALL ARC, AND ANOTHER STORY SEEMED LESS FUNNY. IN SPITE OF THESE ADJUSTMENTS (OR INCLUSIONS, I STILL THINK THAT THIS EPISODE MANAGED TO DROP A CLEVER PUNCHLINE.

Another good episode...
peterwelle28 June 2023
Liked the episode overall. Late to the party here as I'm catching up on season 1 before watching the two episodes of season 2. The scene with Steve and Carrie painting was kind of heart breaking. But why wear high healed shoes, and a wedding ring to a painting project? The scenario with Charlotte and Lilly and the tampon lesson maybe a little silly but still enjoyable. Loved how Miranda made a joke about all the darting in and out of the porta potty..."What do you have a coke problem now?" Liked seeing Prada guy Tony make an appearance as the club owner in Brooklyn. Well done. Seems like an episode from the original series in my opinion.

This Is not just lazy writing anymore, they just dont give a duck. The last episode ended with some things in montion and nothing about that happened here. Its disrispecful for the viewer, im mad haha. I mean the episode was "fun" but, come on, they just deleted some scenes last minute, only explanation. On the other hand Steve Is being disrispected AGAIN.

Absolutely awful
hpcmakeup9 February 2022
This is the worst garbage I have ever seen. HBO should be embarrassed and honestly someone who actually put this on their streaming should be fired and never allowed to work in tv again. Oh and stop putting Cynthia Nixon in more HBO shows...she's awful!!!

Ridiculous
MidoriAi1 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Charlotte's so cocky, and her daily life is like a parody. I don't care about her daughter period. I bet most teens don't talk about it with their mothers... The first time I used a tampon it was in the nineties and with no internet available I had no problem learning how to put a tampon by myself, no friend or family needed, no thank you. NO.

So Charlotte is going to put the tampon to her daughter? How can she help her? And the spoiled little brat wants the lesson just before dinner or never.

And there they are, at the bathroom, Charlotte with her disfigured face by plastic surgeries (distracting all the time) teaching her 15 year old daughter how to use a tampon.. I realy don't picture this IRL. And of course ended up watching a tutorial made by a young girl on youtube.

Charlotte's face and mannerisms are extremely exaggerated, no relatable whatsoever, and disgusting to watch.

And the other alternative, if not the ONLY ONE is the menstrual cup. Tampons are bad for many reasons.

And what was that about what Anthony's boyfriend said about the holocaust and him screaming, followed by a quick scene cut?? Weird!!

Guess with me: we got the gay lesbian sexually ambiguous, the PC, the woke, different ethnics... what do we miss??

5 minutes in and there you go a gay and a transvestite. Sexual ambiguous and or people never been more present in a tv show ever, not even in queer eye for a straight guy and the Ru Paul show both combined.

I really liked the math teacher, but it was not for Carrie. She's a spoiled narcissist person, he's incredibly kind. Sad to see him go.

Carrie going to paint a house for charity in WHITE overalls and HIGH HEELS!!

Ridiculous.

Charlotte having a period and not noticing it?

Ridiculous.

Miranda is oblivious to what Che wants. Che gives out every sign. Everybody gets it except Miranda. We know the end result 2 episodes back. A grown up like her should know better. Bad writers trying to create drama where there's not. A real story would have been that Miranda fall in love with Che and gets rejected, but never told Steve, so they never divorce. That's more common/relatable than this bull.

What the hell is wrong with Miranda?
gii-star30 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Miranda is so lame, she was stong and confident, now she is just so lame and confused. I hate the Che character, when I see it, I want to vomit, so unlikable, rude and cocky.

I will not even mention Charlott and her daugters, tampons and gender problems. Too much is too much. Where is the classical values? Only woke stuff. Bad bad bad.

....
pm-9800227 January 2022
Love the show- but not this episode. So much cringe. Ouch. And not cute cringe. Everything seems forced (the menopause conversation, the rejection at the nightclub entrances). And Miranda's daughter - she looks a little old to be just getting her period. A lot incredulous plot lines.

Hope the show recovers.
