Absolutely incredible writing on this episode, reminded me a bit of the character-study qualities of Mr. Robot.

More than makes up for it

Although the firs half of S2 I found to be somewhat dull and repetitive, this second half is making up for it, especially this episode. It evokes a "The Test Dream" feel of The Sopranos with its dreamlike nature. It was exhilarating to see Dave jump into the studio and know what song he would record next.

Fantastic Television

This episode grabbed me from the first second. It was funny, fun, and above all EXTREMELY ORIGINAL!! Love the transition lil dicky has made from Music to TV and although I don like any of his music under Lil Dicky, this show is exceptional and I hope it continues to develop for several more seasons.

Every Episode Gets Better

I have to admit, I was a little disappointed at the first couple of episodes. It seemed to lack season one's charm and the plot lacked direction.

However, my disposition on season two has since course corrected, thanks in large part, to the second act. The last couple of episodes have delivered every bit of charm, charisma, and humor that we had been accustomed to in season one. I am anxiously looking forward to see how this all ends.

This episode made me so happy. Digging up Flea's fear. Eating Gata. Sadness. His mother and Ally. Falling in love with himself. Telling himself to SHUT UP. The anteater. Rick. Everything has been building to this.

This IS the best episode of DAVE yet!

Really it is the single greatest episode to fully capture the growth of every character that's been introduced. The symbolism is brilliant and the beats hit very damn well.

Reminded me of Bojack Horseman

The way the episode seamlessly transitions into an absurdist dream sequence felt like something straight out of a lynch movie, yet the whole thing is still so absurd that you can't help but laugh.

The final resolution is great and the song at the end is a banger. The episode is also packed with symbolism and some really neat tie ins to previous episodes that might not be very easy to catch.

10/10 probably the second best episode of the season.

What an incredible. Using the extended scene to show Dave's deepest fears was incredible. Whether it was disappointing Rick or GaTa we see what Are the biggest obstacles in his life that really hold him back. Such a creative way to share that one of Dave's biggest fears is moving on from Ally but then hearing her say as an older woman that their breakup was a mistake. Very very impressive episode.

Writers have well and truly nailed it

Perfect amount of comedy and thoughtfulness. Such a good and accurate depiction of an erratic dreamscape too. Effort was really put into sets well to pull this off.

I really enjoyed season 1. I really enjoyed season 2. Both made me laugh and (almost) cry. I can't guarantee that you will enjoy it, but I can guarantee that you will either enjoy it or not enjoy, and that your experience will be unique to you. Isn't TV great! Isn't TV great?

Season two is absolutely terrible! Who is rating these episodes? Season one was very funny, but my goodness; this season was so painful watch. I've yet to watch the last episode and to be honest- I don't care how it ends. So disappointed that I felt compelled to write my very first review. This is rated for mature audiences but I can't help but to feel that the second season was written for children, by children. Woeful!
