Well-acted Stormy drama
lor_27 September 2017
For her 13th film as a director, Wicked Pictures contract star Stormy Daniels makes her first drama, after a string of successful comedy projects. "The Price of Lust" is a serious feature with a powerful ending and good acting by all hands, both in and out of the sack.

It has a bucolic setting, as Stormy and hubby Randy Spears move to the sticks to allow him, a retired lawyer, to get away from it all and work on penning his first novel. Stormy is haughty and mean to everyone, quite unhappy on tagging along and being away from all her friends in the Big City.

Sexual tensions immediately ensue as the couple gets to know their next door neighbors, Voodoo and his very young looking petite wife Lindsey Meadows. It turns out that Randy and Stormy are swingers, so a sexual foursome takes place soon, but is interrupted, just as the XXX action is heating up, by a second-thoughts decision by Voodoo to call a halt to the infidelity.

Jealousy and resentment make up most of the action, leading to a tragic conclusion that Stormy handles with freshness and ingenuity, after thes lead up is rather predictable. As Lindsey's best friend, the late Amber Rayne is along for counseling her on what to do, as well as delivering an anal-sex scene with local sheriff Mark Wood.

Stormy's amazing mammaries command the screen in many scenes and are even the butt of some jokes (their fakeness) in her banter with Lindsey. She is quite adept at handling an unsympathetic role for herself, which should have earned her mainstream assignments beyond the typecast walk- ons in such Apatow films as "40-Year-Old Virgin" and "Knocked Up".
