- In the game it self there is absolutely no profanity. In multiplayer where you play with random people, the majority of them use profanity a decent amount.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- There is a constant, escalating sense of strong threat and menace throughout gameplay, as supernatural beings make contact with the players through various ghost-hunting devices and equipment. This can include them talking to the player through a "spirit box" and moving objects around a room, before eventually making abrupt appearances around the environment. The ghosts can also hunt and kill the player, resulting in some moderate horror when their hands cover the screen.
- One of the more intense aspects of the game involves how the player is encouraged to talk to the ghosts through the microphone. This added functionality increases the suspense of the game considerably.
- This game exploits common fears (fear of ghosts, fear of the dark, fear of closed/small spaces, etc) to create a disturbing and terrifying environment for the player(s). In addition to which, the ghosts can manipulate items around the player (doors, lights, faucets, and various objects) which can be terrifying for many players.
- Ghosts are disterbing when they apear in front of you. During attacks, you will hear their footsteps behind you. Some ghosts will run towards you. They will also just walk, crawl or walk backwords but bent over so they can still see you.
