Moves at a good pace but the spookiness which is ther in the first episode is missing in this one. Nevertheless, it is creepy at times n the story gets engrossing.

Before and After the minute thirty-nine

The first episode was really nice and promising. I was excited to see the second one, But what happen??! Unconvincing plot. A silly story, I saw this story many times the man who saves the world in last second and become a hero bla bla bla . I lost my hope not in this episode but in the whole series ,Until the minute thirty-nine. My respect to this minute. They (The work makers ) put themselves in front of difficult challenges, The love circle OMG it was very great and unpredictable. Great respect about this.
Breathtaking

Warning: Spoilers
The lead character is a dreadful misanthrope!
That is the only word I can use to describe Refaat Ismail. Well, I can think of some colorful profanity, but I will not indulge in that here!
While his distaste for all things people is often funny, I feel so awfully sorry for Howaida, his fiance. How is she even his bride to be? They are decades apart in age! I must assume this is an arranged marriage (the show takes place in modern Egypt but such arrangements are still common). Regardless of the gap, she seems genuinely pleased to marry him, if not head over heels in love. And he?? He only wants out. Wants to be left alone.
He may still carry a torch for the recently arrived Scottish college friend, Maggie, but he knows their time is long past. These feelings for her give him a smidgen of likeability, but that is about it. Nonetheless...that he has these old feelings and treats Howaida dismissively actually serves to make him MORE of a jerk.
But now that Howaida is near death, he makes a bedside pledge to marry and be whatever she wants him to be if she would only wake up... a bit late, no? And want to bet when she does wake up he reneges??
A couple other non character issues were present in this ep. The sacred temple had no guards at night?? The mummy of the princess was THERE in the open and not in a museum?? The lab would not figure out it was Dr. Ismail that took the mummy of the Black Pharaoh??
Regardless, this is fine show and a great addition to the supernatural canon.

"Paranormal's Mystery and Thriller Episode: A Captivating and Intense Ride"
ameerbarram6 June 2023
The second episode of Paranormal manages to maintain the same level of quality as the first, but has a more complex and interesting plot.
The events revolve around the main character, Refaat Ismail, who is exposed to strange and terrifying phenomena in his house, and tries in every way to get rid of them. Through the second episode, we get to know new characters that enter Rifaat's life and help him in his attempts to understand what is happening to him.
The episode was distinguished by the wonderful directing technique, which made the viewer feel nervous and afraid, as well as the wonderful performance of the actors, who succeeded in presenting their characters excellently.
My personal opinion is that the episode was fun and exciting, but it needs some focus on developing some minor characters and clarifying some of the ambiguities in the plot.
Overall, I think Paranormal Episode 2 deserves a very good rating, and I'm giving it an 8/10.

Warning: Spoilers
I am being generous by giving it 6/10 , the premise is not well established nor explained , we don't know what are we dealing with , a sudden curse then a virus , and next thing you know it's all gone , a compelling story could have gone way better
Not quite as good as the first episode but still amazing

Yes it's true that this episode isn't as good as the first one, mainly in the horror genre. However it is still an amazing episode and I have a feeling that this episode and Paranormal will lead to something fantastic.
(#1.2)

This episode isn't bad , but it isn't as good as i thought. You have a good story , a hero quest to save his lover and an angry ancient mummy.
All this make a perfect horror episode but something is missing .
The plot was Unconvincing , by the half of the episode I felt kind of Distracted.
The horror theme is still scary the jump scares is really good, Ahmed Amin is still good.

Didn't like the ending!

I felt kind of lost most of the episode, didn't know what they really wanted. The actors, except for Ahmed Amin, are just reading their lines, not acting. And the ending felt like it was fitted to serve the drama of the love triangle (Dr. Refaat, Maggie and Howaida).
Silly Adaptation from a great Novel

That is not The Myth of the Curse of the Pharaoh
Abdurrhman08 November 2020
These are not Raeefa, Talaat or Dr. Ramzy Habib
These are not the characters or the scenes.
This is not what happened.
That is neither the essence of Paranormal nor the philosophy of Dr. Ahmed Khaled Tawfik.
THAT IS NOT PARANORMAL.
I am so very freaking disappointed.
