Well, with only two weeks to go to the finale it's time for the residents of Ramsey Street to start moving into the Christmas spirit. Harold taking centre stage was probably a good idea, given what's coming up, and it adds a melancholy touch to proceedings. His silent toast to Lou and lonely departure are poignant moments and the scene where Karl basically tells Susan to let Lou know about his condition is a great one.

It all culminates in one of the show's famous street parties, with as many cast members as they could find turning out.The choices are a bit strange in places:Charlie is present with no sign of Steph or even Libby, being looked after by Rachel. At least it explains what she keeps doing with him but wouldn't Ben, who appears to be staying with the Kennedys, be there?Paul and Sam, neither of whom is particularly popular, just wandering into the Kennedys' for a pre-party drink is a bit odd too.Toadie may well regret his decision not to help Sam but Paul's reaction is a bit weird:He tells Sam she won't manipulate him then gives her what she wants. And there's a nice comedy moment between Steve and Rebecca.

The Zeke plot line is quite interesting although the sudden presence of his friends at school when they showed no sign of going there last episode is a bit abrupt. The relationship between him and Kyle still seems borderline homo-erotic and he doesn't really do a pretty good job of leaning over to grab Justin(he doesn't even go down to his waist). What exactly did the boys do with Justin's car after dropping him at the hospital?Still, Zeke shouting at a macho Declan is a great moment.
