Life-changing

After his first movie "Irregardable", Babor was already considered as one the most promising director of his generation. With his second film "Impionçable", comes the confirmation of his talent.

Even if my level of expectation was extremely high, he managed to not disappoint me and even go further than what i was expecting.

Impionçable is an absolute masterpiece. Babor approaches the most complex themes of our society with great sensivity and humor. The director displays his political convictions but does it skillfully so as to never fall into a moralizing discourse. The rhythm is always masterd to keep the spectator on the edge of his seat. The casting is impressive and the direction of the actors is excellent.

So, impionçable has all the qualities to make it one of the greatest films of this year, and I look forward to Babor's upcoming films.

simply brilliant

I was hooked up from the beginning to the end, this movie basically proves that you don't need a billion+ dollar budget to make a bestseller. Humor, feelings, action and romance, everything is there to make you spend the best 1h20 of your life, a HUGE thank you to babor for this artwork.

This film impionçable it's just a incroyable movie. So true actors, particulary Fête-man with a carrement stylé outfit. Love the transition cam to cheveux or cam to joues au noir. All caracters dégorgent theirs talent on our face and it's fully agréable.

Surely the best movi ever make

Must see

A movie entirely shot by handheld camera, technical masterstroke. Photography at the service of a brilliant scenario, unbelievable acting performance, the secondary roles are so good that appreciating the main character (played by Babor Lelefan) is even more pleasing.

Already a must-see

Having only be out there for 1 week, this movie has already surpassed Parasite in every aspect : storyline, rythm of narration, casting. The viewer never expects what's next, and is never disappointed.

This movie has however a weak side : its length. At a little bit more than 1:20, we all wish it would have lasted a little longer.

Unmissable

I watched without knowing too much about the director and lead actor, Babor Lelefan alias Clément Bérut, and I was expecting an average film like the French cinema does so much. Well, I must admit, I took quite a slap in the face. The last time it happened to me was probably in front of Nolan's The Prestige. Babor, while pretending to make a poor quality parody of French cinema, actually gives here a masterful lesson in creativity and absurd humor by delivering a very rhythmical film. Sometimes terrifying, sometimes moving, always surprising, this film will not leave you neutral, that's for sure.

In short words : Totalité hégelienne du génie français
novusmosmaiorum13 October 2020
As much for the acting as for the artistic bias, I was surprised from beginning to end! This film is not only a raw gem with scattered feelings, it is a reflection in the long night of the artistic desert that is the French comedy for the general public. Despite the fact that the actors are PARISIANS, the film is of an unsuspected quality. Halfway between Dada and De Do Do, De Da Da de Police, this film will entertain adults and grownups alike. Best French feature film of the year almost without a doubt. Exceptional performance of Augustin Shackelpopoulos, which would deserve a César. Hard at the beginning, freezing at the end, with in between talkative moments that leave time to reflect on the destiny of the protagonists, moving in their candour, trying to mold turpitudes in their initiatory journey towards the search for good against evil. In a word, a futuristic independent classic.
