This man is living three (3) separate lives as many of us continue to second guess our own life choices

Pilot Episode review only

After reading some of the initial IMDB series reviews it would appear that some of the audience would prefer Joe "Pick One (1)" life and live it. I for one like the alternative life choices this Ordinary Joe is showing his audience that could have been his life choice(s).

I get it. I really do. The writers of this new TV series obviously have some issues with their own life choices and now that they are either middle and/or old age they are second guessing the life/career choices that they have made. This is by no means a new concept as anyone who is now past the age of thirty (30) something has most likely looked deep into their current situation and wondered how different their lives would be today if only they had made one key alternate decision and/or life/career choice.

This series simply explores the possibilities of what one man's life would be or could be depending upon the life partner (s)he chooses as well as their career choices.

I am a happily (twice) married retired senior citizen with three (3) adult sons and two (2) grandsons so far and wishing for more grandchildren. The series title is most appropriate as this ordinary Joe (James Wolk) provides his audience how one's man life is lived as a rock star, a hospital nurse, and also as a police officer as his own dad was until his father lost his life saving others during the 9/11 attacks in New York City.

The series has a similar feel as the multiple Emmy Award winning (2016 - 2021) series "This Is Us" as both series explores both the past and present periods of a persons life story. I believe if this series sticks to maintaining a more dramatic presence rather than a sci-fi genre it will sustain a large enough audience to win a few Emmy's of its own.

I give the series a positive 8 out of 10 IMDB rating.

Definitely had the potential to be a 10

We are seeing the results of 3 different life choices but we're never shown the moment he made each of those decisions or any kind of explanation why we are seeing all three nor why we should care. If the first episode had tackled this first and helped us understand the point, when, how, why, then it would be way better. Hopefully something will happen in episode two that gives us the this, but as is...6/10.

Great potential

This show has a lot of potential. The casting is great so far. I really enjoy how they've tied everything together. I thought maybe 3 paths would be a little much that you wouldn't really grow to care about any of them enough, but so far so good! I am excited to see how it all unfolds and how far each path strays and what overlaps etc. Looking forward to it!

Three Paths From College

Warning: Spoilers
Joe just graduates from college in 2011 and in the what if road that has in the three roads either to Music Joe, Cop Joe, or Nurse Joe.

With bumps and turns on his personal and professional life. You have to really be a fan of this show. If you really want to be in the catching up on it there.

As it affects him in the job that he takes and that over in the personal relationships that he has had there. Has "This is Us" Vibes there.
