Deserves a children's BAFTA
Caveboy1022 February 2010
I stumbled upon this show last week, and since then have been addicted! The relationship between Bo (Jessica Henwick) and Jen (Alicia Lai), is so well played, it reminds me of my own love/hate relationships with my siblings. And the chemistry between Trix (Gilles Geary) and Vicky (Lil Simz?) is very skilfully played. This series is absolutely delightful, and visually spectacular. I really do think that this series has set a new standard for British children's television, which has been slightly lacking recently. It is great to finally see some British Asians on the television - and in a LEAD role too! This is a small step forward in bringing some cultural diversity to our screens. Definitely worthy of a children's BAFTA - and I will be very mad if this doesn't get picked up for a 2nd season!!

So far so good

I've only seen episodes 1 and 2 so far, which I have been watching with my two children. They both absolutely adore the show, and coming from a Chinese background, I feel this show touches on a personal level with me. So far the show has been very good. The sets are marvels to look at, and the acting is top notch. My only problem is the length of the show; I found it hard to get into episode one because it was so short. And then when I watched episode 2 it made me feel like they were trying to fit feature films into half an hour episodes. Now there's an idea; Spirit Warriors as a feature film! Anyway, looking forward to the next episode.
