Cross-Fire is the debut episode in Thames television's Six Days of Justice series. I had expected a bit of drama, followed by a court room scene, murders, big crimes etc. in reality this episode focuses on a rather small matter, Lorna Brown takes on her husband Anthony, with claims of infidelity and cruelty, with counter claims in return.
It's very typical of Seventies drama, it's rather slow, the story could be classed as small fry, but there is something truly interesting about it, it's definitely engaging, realistic in terms of setup, filming etc, and even with the several moments of hysterics it's quite well acted, particularly by Sewell.
It can't be classed as gripping, or even must see, but it's certainly an engaging forty five minutes. 6/10
