Sayantani Ghosh opens up on playing a Rajasthani: 'Being Bengali I find it hard to pick up dialects'
Actress Sayantani Ghosh, who is playing Rajasthani character Vindhya Devi in the show ‘Dahej Daasi’, said it’s not easy for someone like her, who is a Bengali to pick up different dialects and regional aspects.
This is the first time in 20 years that Sayantani is playing a Rajasthani character, and she says it feels special.
“It’s not easy for someone like me, who is Bengali, to pick up different dialects and regional aspects, but I’m proud of the hard work I’ve put in. The feedback from viewers, saying that I look the most authentic as a Rajasthani character on the show, makes it all worth it. Overall, it’s been a fun and challenging process, and I’m grateful for the trust the industry has placed in me,” she said, who is known for her work in ‘Kumkum’, ‘Ghar Ek Sapnaa’, ‘Meri Maa’ and others.

Actor Viraj Kapoor, who is currently seen essaying the role of Romil Kapadia in TV show, ‘Anupamaa’ featuring Rupali Ganguly, revealed being nervous while entering the successful family drama. Viraj entered the show in July 2023, as the illegitimate son of Anupama’s brother-in-law Ankush Kapadia (Rohit Bakshi).

Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan, whose latest film ‘Shehzada’ released on February 17, has looked back at his film ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ on its fifth anniversary. The actor shared a sweet throwback on the occasion.
Taking to his social media, Kartik on Thursday shared the climax scene of ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, and further added a glimpse of the extremely popular friendship song, ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’ from the film, marking its five years.
As he re-lived the memories of the film, he wrote in the caption: “5 years ago, this day turned into Friendship’s Day. And Sonu became an inseparable part of our lives. Thank you Sonu ko apne dil se lagaane ke liye #5YearsOfSonuKeTituKiSweety.”
Meanwhile, ‘Shehzada’, which also stars Kriti Sanon, is the official remake of Allu Arjun’s Telugu blockbuster ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’.
