When Women Rule the World
jboothmillard29 October 2008
Warning: Spoilers
I saw the advert for this show and thought it would be quite interesting, and in some ways, it was. It was like a mix between T4's Shipwrecked and some kind of Wife Swap type show. Anyway, basically T4's Steve Jones presents a show with the ultimate gender experiment where eight women join ten men on a tropical island in the Dominican Republic, and one law to govern them: Women Rule, Men Obey. The women were Angela, Christina, Christine, Desrine, Gemma, Karen, Lesley and Lianne; and the men were: Amaan, Dan, Ed, Fenton, G-Range, Mikey, Myles, Nick, Richard and Steve. Basically over time the men serve the women in whatever way to run a good society, the men elect a queen, and strike a man they feel doesn't contribute or whatever with red paint for a sacrifice, and the queen will give one the kiss of death to send them to the sea. At the end of this "competition" the women would choose a worthy a worthy man to take away the prize money of £30,000, and the right man certainly won. A good series with a very good question, the world we know is very male dominated, but can women rule the world, well in a case like this, I think not, lol. Good!

Utter Tripe

Take 10 dim-witted, cocky metrosexuals, 8 attractive women, 1 annoyingly narcissistic presenter, place them in a tropical paradise, and voila! Another brainless reality TV show.

What we really need like a hole in the head is yet another 'reality TV' show on British television. These shows aren't reality, as the people on them are usually cocky, histrionic, attention seekers. This show brings the genre down to an even lower level than I thought possible, making Big Brother look like it belongs on BBC 4.

The presenter Steve Jones really epitomizes this program; annoying, shallow, superficial and lame-brained.

Utter Rubbish that could only possibly interest the stupid.
