Lance and Ethel are back, it's her birthday, and she's desperate for a washing machine, he wants to buy her a hifi.
It feels as though they wanted to give the regular cast a bit of a break, as this one is centred predominantly around the two guest actors. It works for the most part, they're an amusing, feuding duo.
I am a big fan of both Kenneth Cope and Maggie Ollerenshaw, both are great comedy actors, he's almost hard to recognise with that hair piece, he's looking pretty good here.
The Elvis jokes were pretty amusing, I liked the Howard and Marina segment, it was nice to see Entwistle getting a more central part. I'm finding I'm missing Smiler.
Pretty good, 7/10.
