Great episode

I loved this episode as the gang finally decided that Sheldon needs to learn how to drive. The scene with Penny in the car (do you really think she was interested in what he was saying and his "games?") and the scene with Octavia Spencer in the DMV are classic. This features typical Sheldon and is absolutely hilarious.

Hand Me The Driver

Sheldon depend on Leonard to take him to work. He gives nothing in return and is offensive in his treatment of his roommate. Soon he alienates everyone and has no ride. This leads to a great scene at the DMV with Octavia Spencer. For once, his activities prove fruitless.

The odd 'Phantom' moment at the end aside, this is an absolutely hysterical episode, well written and performed.

A joy.

Funny Episode

This was a really funny episode and it is one of my favorites of this show. Octavia Spencer is in it and I like her in every thing she plays in and I loved her in this to. Like most of this show the episode is funny and smart and interesting. In this episode Sheldon looses his ride to work because Leonard has to work at a different time then normal. Sheldon hits up everyone else for rides but eventually it gets clear hes to big of a burden on them. The gang decides to make Sheldon learn how to drive himself. It doesn't work that good.

An incredibly funny episode where Sheldon needs somebody to drive him. Penny giving him the morning ride was too funny. Especially with him suggesting that element game which he played for Penny too and she won. Another great moment was Sheldon complaining about the questions. And him saying that he won't drive because he is too evolved was so Sheldon and hilarious. I loved how Leonard said that maybe he will evolve into something with wings!

Octavia Spencer Steals Episode
vintagegeek4 September 2019
In her role as the Desk Clerk at the DMV in conversation with Sheldon, she totally steals the episode with less than a dozen lines. ''Don't make me climb over this counter". Epic.

This episode was comedy gold

Everything works to absolute perfection in this episode. Every character is on point and there is some very funny scenes involving Sheldon with the driving simulation, at the DMV with the Octavia Spencer cameo & Sheldon admitting he's too evolved for driving.

Hilarious episode and an absolute classic 10/10.

The Euclid Alternative was the funniest episode of "The Big Bang Theory" of this season so far

Warning: Spoilers
Last Monday, CBS reran this episode from last October and since I couldn't watch TV at the time because of the events of Hurricane Gustav, I taped it. Leonard has been sleeping just after work because of an exhausting project. That's too bad for Sheldon since he can't drive and won't take the bus because they would not let him use the bungee cord for a seat belt. But after disastrous ridings with Penny, Howard, and Raj, they all intervene and tell Sheldon he should take a driving test. Because the lady in the counter doesn't want to have go from her desk and clobber Sheldon for his ridiculous questions, she gives his learner's permit. So now, with Howard's video game contraption, the gang guides Sheldon in his driving lesson. Too bad he ends up in a mall. So with that, Sheldon decides he's not meant for driving and decides to sleep at the university. By this time, Leonard's finished his project for a week but Sheldon doesn't know and now overnight he's got some Spanish maids scared with his leaving of bread crust and appearing in a dark hood nightgown...Quite a hilarious episode what with Sheldon annoying everyone with his constant jabbering though nothing topped his screaming like a little girl when he rode on back of Howard's scooter! Also funny was Penny hitting Sheldon's stomach with a pillow during the "driving" test to simulate an air bag. So on that note, The Euclid Alternative was the funniest episode of "The Big Band Theory" I've seen so far this season.
