Real talk bro, this movie is awful bro. Like bro, believe me bro!.. I hope you sense the irony with the overuse of the word "bro". Now I for one, have grown up in London so I'm not alien to the language used - with the "hood" films, Top Boy and such being amoungst some of my favourite movies/series based around the London street life and such.
Saying that, it's not so much the language used through this film, but it's the acting. The term "GCSE Drama" is so overused that, this is isn't even that. I've seen year 6 school play productions with better acting chops than this poor excuse. Just from the title alone and the opening act you can predict what's going to happen through the whole film.
The main characters acting and screen presence is horrendous, supporting cast seems so forceful like they have revised the script word for word and the director has said "try to make it sound natural". The most laughable character in this has to be the bald dude with the goatee - by far the poshest, least intimidating road man I have witnessed in my life.
Sort of forced myself to watch this as I was half way through and almost felt committed to finishing it - self torture, I know. I appreciate movies like this with a small budget but this is 100% a hard pass!
