Is this a thriller or a reality tv show?

So many flaws in this movie, as to name a few. There was too much drama and arguing over petty stuff. Like for example when one of the bridesmaids had taken a photo of one the other women, and she got upset for some reason. So much arguing that it felt like I was watching a reality tv show that one of my sisters watch. There was a few other fights and arguments, but this was the most memorable one since I hardly paid any attention to this dumb "thriller". Aside from that, I have a ton of other complaints. Like how obnoxiously loud and overpowering the music was. I mean, has lifetime not looked back at their other movies to know that they should NOT make the background music so overly loud? The plot was extremely convoluted and confusing and the characters were too unlikable to care less about what happened to any of them. And my last thing to talk about is the usual "climatic" lifetime movie scene. The ending was weak and anticlimactic, so much so that I couldn't wait for the dumb movie to end.

Pretty Decent

This one was actually pretty easy to figure who the culprit is before the end, but the crazed persons motive was unexpected. However since this is a lifetime thriller movie, there surprisingly was not any deaths in this one at all. Wasn't really shocked by that since almost the entire cast was pretty likeable.

Not worth wasting much time to review this turkey - suffice to say that everything was horrible, to the point I finally yelled at the TV: "Are you kidding me with this?!"

Bad from start to finish, beginning with the ridiculous title and loud over-powering soundtrack that drowned out half the dialogue.

The direction looked as if it was done by a 10 year old. The acting by everyone - including the detective in her few scenes - was so bad it should be illegal. Slow-paced and boring beyond belief. Painfully endless teenage-girl-ish yammering, laughing, bickering, and hugging. And drinking.

Hardly anything even happened other than their drunken giggling parties. The bride "saw some white powder on the sleeve of her dress" at the bridal shop when a few of them got a rash which didn't last long, and one of them couldn't breathe but then she was fine. SO lame and pathetic.....wow. I kept waiting for something to happen that was meant to sabotage the impending wedding, but the few harmless bits here and there were like an after-thought instead of the main plot theme. When the bland villain and their insanely weak "motive" was revealed at the end, I was too busy yawning and fighting sleep to care.

The entire thing was pure torture. Avoid at any cost - trust me.

Boring and stupid

This is so far below Lifetime movie standards. Bad acting by all. Obnoxious music overlay. Paper-thin plot. Lots of "filler" scenes like trying on countless dresses. By the end you didn't care who lived or died. The screenwriter should have his laptop confiscated. The director should just be ashamed.

The very first minute of this movie gives the villain away if you have subtitles. I should have taken that as a gift instead of watching anyway. I wanted everyone to die including the bride and groom. Don't even get me started on the worst choice of a stripper they could have used in the movie. I've watched so many LMN movies but this is by far the worst.

Such a waste of two hours. Awful movie. Bad acting. Can't think of one good thing to say about this movie. Why someone would read this script and decide to "act" in this movie is beyond me.

Wow....the acting was one of the worst I've seen in a Lifetime movie. The cast was SO awkward!! Its cringe worthy to watch!! LOL.

It was like they were all just reading from a script in a monotone voice. Especially the ending... it was so corny.

Worst Lifetime Movie Ever Made!

The absolute worst Lifetime movie ever made. . . not even remotely entertaining! Ridiculous plot and script, all acting was terrible. . . absolutely nothing is good about it. PASS!

Give it away at the very start and there's no way it was intentional. I watch w/closed captioning because actors mumble, or the movie's music is too loud and the dialogue can't be heard. Somebody on this production wanted to do the audience a favor. When all of the bridesmaids get together, they try to introduce other potential villains, and other scenes do the same, but it all falls flat after the caption snafu.

I do like that they went through the effort to make this a "bridal" movie complete with dress try-ons and wedding events. There's cringe acting, but I think they do nail the vibe of the bride being the only connection between them. The not-a-shower get together scene was nice with the thoughtful gifts. Very un-Lifetime. After an hour, only one incident has occurred, so they're all still clueless. While I do appreciate that this is focused on the bridal party, what's a wedding movie w/o venue visits, cake tastings, flowers? Seems like a person with an axe to grind would sabotage those things. Would have been a more direct attack on the bride imo. Like in Engaged to a Psycho.

The groom is hardly in this, which ok, it's about the bridesmaids, sort of. They make the point to say he's not close to his family, but I think there was a missed opportunity to have one of them be his sister or cousin because there could be a scenario where someone in his family doesn't want them married. She has so many bridesmaids already, what's one more, lol. The groom should have been involved in the climax. I'm sure Lifetime purposely didn't want Jessica to be saved by him to "vindicate" the other "suspect," but they could have shown the villain get rejected by her motivation for all of this (the groom Michael) one last time. Also, why wouldn't XXXXXXXXX tell the others what was happening? Should have been a whole rescue team in the end.

It's not the worst Lifetime movie I've seen these last few months. If you plan to "figure out" the mystery, turn your captions off first. Even for Lifetime, that is such a bizarre editing mistake. When the climax actually happens, it says "person laughing" vs "Villain's name laughing." So did they accidentally swap the scenes? Lol.

It was a typical lifetime movie. Was NOT bad as these reviews say. Sounds like maybe a bitter actress didn't get screentime and made a bunch of phony accounts? 😂

Will Ms. Curtis Become Mrs. West?

"Brutal Bridesmaids" includes some of the most obnoxious people imaginable in a truly sordid saga of wedding preparations. As the wedding of Jessica "Jess" Curtis and Michael West is announced, Jess's bridesmaids are assembled. But there is a clear attempt at sabotage in every step of the wedding preparations. Will Ms. Curtis and Mr. West ever make it to the finish line?

The film suffered from repetitive scenes in which the bridesmaids are poisoned and the poor groom is savagely beaten as he tries to change a flat tire. The question arises among Jess's friends about who could possibly be her enemy?

Another question to ask is: Who cares?

The dramatic situation was so insipid that almost any of the bridesmaids, including Melissa, Kristin, Binky, Sloan, and Holly, could be the perpetrator. On the surface, Jess believed that she was bringing together her "sisterhood" to inspire her in her wedding. But who would have the motive, means, and opportunity to wreak havoc on the sisterhood?

The filmmakers sought to create a dazzling visual sense of elite people living in the lap of luxury in beautiful San Diego. But the tawdry nature of the scenes almost made the betrayal of one of her friends a moot point. In the final analysis, ALL of the bridesmaids were brutal.

Bad film to use subtitles

Jessica (Zoila Garcia ) is getting married and one of the bridesmaids is not happy about the situation. The film is designed for you to guess the culprit through clues and head fakes. Unfortunately they open with a teaser. The unseen culprit is laughing in the teaser. If you have on the subtitles, it gives you her name. This is basically a waste of film, even for a LIfetime movie.

Fiance too OLD!

Bad movie. Young girl thrilled to be marrying her old man boyfriend. Jealous bridesmaids make trouble. Old plot done poorly. The dude she's marrying is too old and no chemistry. Not believable. All adds up to a dud movie.
