This is a live action film with the same name as a recently released animated one. It starts down several potentially interesting paths, but never seems to get anywhere. A chronically jerky camera is especially annoying and headache inducing! Amusing T-shirt continuity problem. Less than successful experiment. Viewed at Japan Cuts. WILLIAM FLANIGAN
