Considering how HUGE the Atlantic is, it is amazing they found that ship!

When it set off to sea, the Bismarck was among the most powerful battleships in the world. Very modern and very tough--it's hard to imagine that its entire service life was only a couple weeks! This story tells about this voyage as well as the mission by Robert Ballard (who gained fame by discovering the resting place of the Titanic) and his crew to locate and then document the Bismarck. The first attempt came up empty but the second found this massive ship--something that sounds MUCH easier than it actually is considering how deep the ship lies as well as how big the ocean is. All in all, an interesting show and seeing the footage of the ship on the bottom alone is reason to watch this one.

If you do wish to see this, it is currently available streaming through Netflix.
