8 kids on a plane - oh, my!

Warning: Spoilers
The Gosselins prepare to head to Chicago to go to the Oprah show. This is no small task for this family of 10. Although the trip will only last 24 hours, they have to pack 5 suitcases and 2 portable potties.

They start the show with reviewing the history of how they as a family have traveled over the years. In the beginning, they never went anyway ( who could blame them) except church. Then, before the big van, they had to take 2 separate cars so they could never travel together. Then they review the stroller issues - the six seater, vs, the triple strollers. They always had to consider where they were going and then for days would debate which stroller would fit the situation best. They are both relived that the stroller years are in the past now that the kids can walk!

I just noticed something! As they are getting ready and packing in their den - I realize they have an off-white sofa, with 8 kids!! I'm amazed that it doesn't look like one big stain!! Insignificant detail but still interesting to me.

So the majority of the show is about getting ready for the trip. Aunt Jodi and Beth accompany them for the trip. A private bus picks them up to carry them to the airport. Moving through the various stages of the airport is quite challenging - like potty trips, checking baggage, security. It all goes quite smoothly. But only the final minute of the show is spent talking about what the Oprah show itself is like. There is no actual video footage of the show, or still photographs even. This was very disappointing. I'm sure there must be copyright issues as to why they couldn't show any Oprah show footage, but at least they could have shown some backstage video they took with their own camera etc. At the very least, they should have shown a photo of the kids with Oprah. I never saw the actual Orpah show episode myself, so some type of actual footage, video or still photo would have been nice.
