One of the best TV series in Sri Lanka

Thanamal wila is a Sri Lankan village. Which is located in UVA province. But that area has not any facilities than Colombo. "Deeptha" is the main character. He had to face those obstacles. Finally, he was able to win. This TV series describes his life story.

Really amused with the natural acting and the quality of sound effects and cameta angles. Very much related to the fellings of generations born in 80' s and 90's . Bring tears to the eyes.

This is way better than twilight or what so ever called Sri Lanka deveni inima we need more TV shows like this and the director Mr. Roshan has done a good work. Please give us a season 2 too. We don't want end to this series

Deeptha, an adolescent in a remote village called "thanamalwila" coincidentally meets her sister's best friend Yashodara. She learns Deeptha's unique qualities and helps him to come out of his current useless and reckless life.

The story depicts the challenges and the obstacles face by Deeptha and how he took advantage of the every situation he faced. A story with a very wide scope!

This is one the best teledrama ever made in Sri Lanka. One can say that there is nothing special in the storyline and this is just a usual teledrama. But I think there is a deeper meaning to this story than we see inside and within the characters.

The village is changing! People are changing! Life is changing! I think the director has tried to make his fans understand this change in our lives through this teledrama. I think his attempt was successful. I invite everyone to watch this and add something to your life.

This drama break the silence about real lives in villages of srilanka wht happens to the youth ..importance of family & good friends... Education.. politics, society..religion ..etc..it has great guidelines for the people.. no BS atleast for me.
