Trivia In March 2020, when the cast and crew were midway through filming this episode, the City of New York had to be put into lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They were expecting to resume filming in about a month, but unfortunately, the lockdown lasted longer than expected, with the first restrictions not being lifted until the end of April. Because of those difficulties, this episode became the season finale by default. Computer animation was used to make up for the unfilmed scenes, for which the cast recorded their voices at home. Brian Dennehy, who died of natural causes on April 15, 2020, was not able to complete his work on this episode. The episode was dedicated to him. See more »
Goofs This is also a continuity error. The animated characters in the series are carrying Berettas as evidenced by the open slide design of a Beretta 92/96, not Glocks. A major firearm factual mistake. The FBI has never carried Berettas nor would they change from a Glock to a Beretta in the middle of a case. See more »

Crazy Credits In a segment run over the opening credits, cast members explain that production of this episode had to be halted due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus. However, they cooperated to finish the episode via remote control: computer-generated animation scenes were interspersed with the finished live footage, titles added, and the voices dubbed by the cast actors. They also explained that, due to the production stoppage, this would be the last episode of Season 7 of "The Blacklist" See more »
