If you thought the downfall of Jackie Jones was quick, that's nothing compared to what happens here.Toadie announces that they won't accept compensation unless the council make a public apology...and straightaway they do.Since we're just being told what happens after the fact it's all a bit anti-climactic and once again we're presented with a meeting about the class action where several of the involved parties(the Kennedys, the Parkers, Frazer)are conspicuous by their absence. It does however result in a nice subtle moment where Dan looks admiringly at Sam and Libby looks disappointed.
Elsewhere, we have a last attempt at comic banter between Lou and Harold whilst we've still got them and Steph going all out to do what is right.Paul continues to prove a completely inept adulterer, not even bothering to lock the door before canoodling with Kirsten.(And how exactly does Elle find the right room amongst the dozens to choose from?)But it's just beaten out in the tedium stakes by the ongoing Oliver/Marco posturing.Someone tell them to put it behind them already.Either that or drop an anvil on them both.
