"Inside the individual a cry of pain was heard, then the ages, forces and mirrors that formed it lost control."
After watching Cerulia, I wanted to see more of the stop-motion works directed by Sofia Carrillo. This is one of her earliest shorts (The second one, to be more precise), and I wasn't disappointed by it.
Compared with Cerulia, the animation is much less polished, but quite beautiful anyway. And the plot is even more abstract and ambiguous.
I personally won't try deciphering it, but its captivatingly haunting atmosphere was enough to make this a rather wonderful experience, almost comparable to the works of Jan Svankmajer or the Brothers Quay.
Definately worth-watching, even if the meaning of the plot remains a mystery to me.
