Better Than Most Pilots

Introduces the characters and premise pretty well and hints at the endearing nature of most of their relationships and humor in future. It's funny how Arthur, "The Once and Future King," is depicted as such an arse at the beginning with no humility.

A solid pilot episode, gives a snippet of character personalities and sets the vibe. Good chemistry between characters. Decent acting and set designs.

Strong Start To The Series
RECB32 January 2024
This is a fine pilot episode and way to begin the series. It reveals a lot about what the series is mainly about in the first episode. The atmosphere of the storyline of the whole series might be peaceful and simple but somehow it works. There was some room for improvement to create the storyline of the first episode a bit better but it was still aright. John Hurt was a brilliant cast selection to voice the dragon. He naturally was a great fit for the role. This episode reveals to viewers that everyone has the decision of making a fresh start to their lives. I do not have that decision. I will forever be stuck in my depressed and lonely life. This is a terrific episode to begin the series.
