"Just shut up and listen for a minute, will you?I've been practising this speech all the way over here."

Warning: Spoilers
For the last several years, the double act between Ian Smith as Harold and Tom Oliver as Lou has been one of the best things about Neighbours. And whilst it makes Harold's forthcoming departure seem all the saddening, they are allowed a moment of greatness in the incredibly touching scene at the general store as Lou gives Harold his blessing to go on the trip, summing up all the characters mean to each other. The scene of Lou confiding in Toadie also demonstrates the bond between two of the other older characters.

Things are less successful elsewhere, as Oliver's desire to go public with Mia does seem suspiciously like a game of oneupmanship and Rosie acts like a complete cow throughout before opening her mouth at just the wrong moment. There's also some odd continuity with Rosie discussing her pregnancy in front of Paul and Oliver, neither of whom should know about it, and Paul's sudden desire for children is just plain daft. But the real downer is saved for the end with yet more ridiculous macho posturing between Marco and Oliver. At times it's hard to tell who the child is.
