Watched many short films , but this one is quite a contrast , an amazing work of screen play n cinematography, bgm in certain scenes is brilliant... just waiting for the second part if in case u r in process of making it.

Generally I don't see many Telugu short films, not a fan. But happened to see this short called "Manasanamaha" in a special screening after I saw music director Thaman's tweet about it.
Every minute of it was worth. To put it, it's a simple love story.. but technique that is used to tell this story was beyond my expectation. I've never seen a romantic comedy which was so amazingly narrated. Supported by soul stirring music and superb cinematography, this can be said as the best experience I've had for a telugu short film. It is said to be translated into a feature film.. waiting to watch the full version of it, expecting a solid debut from the promising director. Congrats and good luck to the whole team.

Honest in making. The Dialogues, Music, Execution will leave us in Awestruck and make us think how this was visualized before shoot.
One can not Deny the confidence of the Director by That last frame " See you in Theaters".

I had the chance to look into this awesome short from the master Deepak, whose other shorts were WTF, Hide and Seek. The song and the way its shot, would be haunting you for couple of days and is very big asset to the film. Narrative style is so good and you need to follow closely to understand the subtle storytelling of the director and I am curious to see how this would turn to be a feature length film. Congrats to the whole team.

A short and sweet story.
Each and every frame of the visuals were awesome.. technically every second of the movie is worth watching.
Kudos to all the techinal team who worked hard to proejct it in such a beautiful way.
Deepak reddy's concept of going reverse in this film was mind blowing... what all happened in the life and checking each bit of the moment they lived was shown very nicely.Awesome job man.
Music was swinging like a cool breeze in this movie. Every emotion was given a perfect definition through music.
All the very best Deepak and his team for the bright future. I am wating for this movie to go digital.

Writing & Direction: This is the backbone for this whole film. Excellent script by Deepak Reddy combined with outstanding direction and innovative screenplay makes this film stand aside from rest of the short films out there. Narrating a complicated flashback in the "Rewind" mode is not an easy thing to execute with absolutely impeccable quality of presenting the film to the audiences.
Deepak sets an example to all those film makers to prove that screenplay and impact can still be made using innovative rewind mode techniques.
Our Honest Feeling
Although it is a 16 Minute and 20 Seconds film, the innovative thought work and efforts that went into making this an engaging, innovative and emotional flix for a film of this size must deserve a great applause and highest possible appreciation where possible. Deepak Reddy has all the potential to carry on doing a feature film that we all hope to hit silver screens in the near future. Congratulations & well done!
This film without doubt ticks all the boxes that a well crafted melodious romantic story ticks!

When God created Adam and Eve, he created them as equals and yet very different from each other. What the protagonist of this incredibly shot film discovers at the end of the day is a kind of the same revelation, just revisited. Women, though each seem very different, they are infact the same. Same holds true for men as well. You can't live with one another and also can't live without each other.
The director Deepak Reddy got so many things right in 'Masanamaha'. The casting is perfect. All the beautifully talented women are given names of the seasons in accordance with the philosophy of the film (seasons don't last forever but they arrive again and again periodically). The music is wonderful. He has hit it out of the park by choosing to narrate the whole thing in backwards/reverse. His take, read screenplay, on life is very intriguing to me. If you observe carefully there would be no change in the outcome even if he narrated it regularly. A to B or B to A doesn't make a difference. Because our seemingly uninspiring yet largely scintillating every day lives always play in loops.
