A rare chance to see and hear the Aces.
planktonrules1 December 2022
"Easy Aces" stars the real life married couple, Jane and Goodman Ace. While they are pretty much forgotten today, they were radio stars with the show "Easy Aces", which ran for a decade and a half. Jane was known for her malapropisms, mixing up common sayings. Her husband served as her straight man.

Ootage of DC--capitol, subway, Mrs. Roosevelt was at home?

"Easy Aces" begins with the couple sitting down in a movie theater. Then, you see all sorts of footage of Washington, DC as the pair make comments about it. Some of it is funny, some falls a bit flat.

Overall, this is a film best viewed by historians, film buffs and old time radio fans. Others might be a bit less enthusiastic about it. Not bad...not especially good as well.
