New shelving in garage

I like the opening segment to this episode. It describes the kids personalities, one by one. I have seen many episodes but have never caught this before. I'm not sure if this is the only time they do it. So I thought I would summarize how they describe the kids:

Cara - she's a sweetie and everyone's friend Mady - is our free-spirited child Aaden - we call him our professor Collin - is stubborn, yet kind Joel - is sneaky and cuddly Alexis - she's just wild Hannah - the leader and mommy's helper Leah- a tiny controller

"Life with 2 six year olds and six two year olds gets pretty hectic..."

Its a Saturday and they are organizing the garage with ceiling mount shelves and tall cabinets. They want to use the garage as another room in the house as they are overgrowing their house. Kate's brother, Kevin helps Jon with the labor. Jon says Kevin is just like a male version of Kate, except no yelling. He says Kate is nicer to him when Kevin is around - because she looks up to her brother.. Kate gets to sleep an extra 2 hours while Jon gets started at 7:30 am - but he's glad because there is less interference from her.

The kids aren't happy that their dad is busy with a project on Saturday as that is their day to spend time with him. Kate lets the kids go to the kitchen door to say hi to their dad. I guess Kate gets tired of trying to coral the kids inside, she lets them into the garage. Around tools and shelving parts and ladders. Doesn't sound like a good idea. But at least the kids get to be around their daddy, even if its not so safe.

Jon at one pint has to go running down the street, chasing after a ball. Kate jokes he may just keep going and never come back. Maybe she knows something we don't.

Joel is disgruntled with life and whines all the time, but it sounds like crying. But as soon as they tell him to stop, he cuts it off. Aaden speaks a form of pig Latin - "Aad-ay sit-ay".

Not a very interesting episode.
