The series just kept getting better, and this was no exception. Alin and the fight choreography team were apparently auditioning for the next John Wick film with the Casino scene, and they should get the job! As for the ending, I understand that it went over the heads of some of the most ardent fans. But, think back to the episode where we find out that McAllister has died. That whole episode played out in his head in the moments before he died, lying there in the hall where they tried to keep him alive. So, the writers established that idea. The last episode, after the three of them lose the boat, they are clearly surrounded in a last stand in the woods, as the camera pulls up, ascending over them. Clearly, they were not getting out of that alive, and they didn't. The whole rest of that episode plays out in Coltrane's head. The impossible escape to the helpful farmer's house, killing Arianna who is inexplicably unprotected, meeting up with the other two on the idyllic beach, the strange, philosophical discussion they have before mystically parting ways... none of it actually happened. It was all the last flicker of desperate hope flashing through Coltrane's mind as he and the rest of his team were finally all gunned down there in that clearing in the woods. A brilliant and fitting, and inevitable, end to their lives the way they lived them.

For the past three years , these guys , were great , Warren , Daniel , and especially short stuff Alin .Supporting guys Jamie and Yasmin and Varada and Roxanne did a fine job entertaining us , the ending was great , these actors truly love their roles . if there was to be another chapter then Daniel , Jamie and Alin would be in a spin off show in their own agency of hired soldiers .

High octane action at its best!!! Coltrane, Novin and Wyatt kick ass!! Love them all, superb acting and directing!
OMG this programme is EPIC!!! I've loved all the seasons and special mention again to Scott and Stonebridge! Your camaraderie is clear to see, but all the main characters in these last few seasons are just awesome!!
My favourite has to be Gracie Novin though! She's just amaze balls!! Great acting from all involved, you've given me hours of entertainment in lockdown and for that I'm truly grateful!!
One more thing to add, can we please have a season 9??!!

I've been a fan of the series since the first season. And though seasons with Sullivan and Winchester are my favourite, the latest installment was enjoyable as well, except for everything related to Russia and Russians - this just made me laugh, being so extremely cliche. Standard cartoonish villains, laughable parody at Russian language, "Mother Russia above all" and everyone being killed or sent to gulag for not performing as expected. But it's understandable that West will always view us as enemies, no matter what the politicians sing. And, I guess the series did not have a big budget to polish on everything.
The rest was nice, both the story and the characters, who are written very live and believable.
Still, the ending left a lot to be desired. But seems to be the problem with many great series - they just don't know how to wrap them in a similarly great way. It was the same with Banshee, etc.
But all in all, great series. Will be missed.

Over the years of strike back we have great characters come and go it has become one of my favorite series. After the legends of stonebridge and Scott I never thought they would recover but from this ending I feel Mac deserve better chetri deserved better and the new 20 Deserved better I know not everything is Happy endings but to end this series here is just crule. They brought it back to make us care about new characters and made it a bad ending of fast and furious 5 wherew the "good guys" don't get the credit they deserve.
A huge let-down.

Hmmm...love the series, all 8 of them, but this was a very strange way to end it. It lacked any sense of realism and failed to explain through dialogue or the teams actions, the reasons they found themselves where they did. How did they get away? How did they track down enemies? Where did they go? What happened to the money? It's always good to leave some things unanswered, you rarely want to close a book completely, however this just didn't make sense! It was a jumpy episode that lacked fluidity and unfortunately turned what should have been an emotional climax and fond farewell into a dissapointing head scratching "is that it?!" kind of moment. Well done to all who have delivered such a fantastic watch up until this point, many watchers really fell in love with the characters, if you ever get a chance to do an alternative ending and wrap it up how it should have been done I'll gladly watch it. Perhaps tying up those loose ends properly with the team returning to 20 HQ and handing over to a new team and giving in their official resignation, returning Chetris body to her estranged Dad who turns out to have been super proud, before walking off into the sunset...only for Scott & Stonebridge to have been shadowing them and then stating over a mic "Boss...I think they're ready for the next step, shall we bring them in?" THE END

The ending was totally wrong. No human alive would do what the 3 remaining characters did. Not in a million years. It ended on a very disappointing note. All three ended up losing. Only episode that ever bombed in 8 years

A incoherent plot badly acted especially by the female actors, but to be fair they didn't have much material to work with. Sad ending to the sreies but the show really started its downward trend at about series 6 when the original lead actors left, after that the magic left too.
