Nicely done with a topic that may became easily crude

A comedy about the wear and tear of a couple, yet here quite young, with the pretext of testing a drug that cures couples and makes them renew (respect, trust, attraction). The cast is judicious and confronts very different phlegms between Thomas Ngijol and Judith Chemla, both perfect. The quality of the film is to manage to make a fair film, that is to say, at the same time relative to a certain truth and which avoids, not necessarily accurately, the traps that such a subject could have produced in a primary and vulgar vein. The author takes the opportunity to put a few jabs at the medical staff, represented here without empathy for its guinea pigs.

Simple without simplism, effective without heaviness, just without pathos, this feature film is a success in its genre. It is possible to make a film about a couple without falling into the choral film that inevitably invites its heaviness. Here, no heaviness, but a certain lightness while remaining serious, but with humor.
