A very interesting and insightful documentary. But it's a shame that the only woman that was filmed was shown as insecure, self-doubting and subordinate. While her male colleagues were presented as determined, self-confident, and righteous. This is not the way to portray women in science! This representation promotes the view of women as less capable and less worthy, which is unacceptable. Yvonne had undoubtedly had to work harder than her male counterparts to obtain that position, and she has as much right to be a part of that institution as anyone else there. The image of the place is quite toxic, with newcomers being harshly criticised and bullied by older peers. I can't imagine how creativity could be promoted in a place where people are so scared of authority dealt by older men.
