Well crafted and clever
wightshell7 December 2023
This film has a clever storyline with fascinating characters. The plot twists and holds your attention as it connects past and present events. Locations in Hampstead are gorgeous, and shots are spliced creatively to create drama and drop plot clues.

The cast portray lovably quirky characters with personal flaws which make them endearing and lifelike. Costuming is authentic and not over done.

The inclusion of old technology such as a cassette tape player, phone box, hamburger phone, and dial telephone add moments of sublte humour and create a sense of authenticity. The scene with the dial telephone is particularly amusing.

Very well done.

80's Sci-Fi Family Friendly Fun
rps_diane18 January 2024
This movie was a ton of fun! I took my whole family and we all enjoyed it. The Storyline was very clever and had me guessing until the end. The creator of this film has also left it open for a sequel, which was nicely done.

Yes this is a time travelling movie, as the title suggests, so no spoilers there. The intersection between characters and their motivations in the present and the past are surprising and creative.

The characters were well formed and likeable with good character development. The costumes were fun, especially the 80's ones.

The filming/ editing were so well done as to not be noticeable.

The Props were also fun. I loved seeing the.use of the old "TV Hits" magazine - that sure brought back memories!

Cast back to the 80s
jimmyg-472611 April 2024
Lovely movie set in Hampstead Heath, London, and as the title suggests it really does take you back in time.

The plot juxtaposes the present with the 80s, and as a teenager of the 80s, with the nostalgic dress, hairstyle, and retro props (like the old dial phone and cassette tapes) it really brought up fond memories of what seemed like a much fun simpler and time.

Really enjoyed the cinematography, and the plot had twists and turns that kept you guessing all the way. All the characters were well suited to their roles, and made you believe they were really cast back in time.

Great fun movie, and suitable for all ages, and great soundtrack which also casts you back to the 80s era.

Captivating and quirky sci-fi movie well worth seeing
markwilshusen7 December 2023
An original story line in the much loved 'time travel' trope. There are lots of twists and turns in the plot that keep you guessing right to the end. The locations around Hampstead are perfect for time traveling back to the 80's with lots of props that will give a laugh to anyone who remembers the 80's (very funny to watch a teenager from the iPhone era trying to use a dial up phone). The cast are well suited to the roles each person plays, particularly the two main characters (played by Tim Cullingworth-Hudson and Anna Frazer). The cinematography was crisp and sharp and the music was just right for each scene.

All in all, a great film to watch with the whole family.

Sensational!
mrpower-134566 December 2023
Amazing movie! Perfect story of parental redemption wrapped up in just enough tine travel to be awesome without losing track. While my love of science fiction could argue certain time travelling mechanics, the charm of the movie overrode any of my nerdy objections.

Without spoiling the story, I loved the juxtaposotioning if parental mistakes, regardless of the time he was in, and the lengths he went to right them.

Anna Fraser is fabulous too, amazing casting all round.

Loved the cinematography, long scenes with epic music, feels inspired by the classic, the princess bride.

Overall it was lovely, and one I'd be happy to watch again.

Loved the 80's vibes!
piproserobinson19 March 2024
My family and I had a very enjoyable evening at Luna SX in Fremantle watching this movie.

Wonderful cinematography and music - an 80's girl myself I totally and immediately felt at home. Loved the use of the tape player, mixed tape gift (ha ha!) and dial phone, brilliant.

The story delivered with twists and turns, keeping you on your toes until the end, and sparking a huge chat on the way home! I also loved the gorgeous Hampstead Heath and London scenes, which were beautifully framed.

Lastly, well done to the composer of the soundtrack - that last song was a ripper! Really added to the general ambience of the film. Great job!

Enthralled from start to finish
tridsdillsmith8 December 2023
Time Rewind is a cleverly crafted story about family, time travel and 80s London. The movie rollicks along at a great pace, with the intertwining threads from across the different time periods coming together in a satisfying way throughout.

It's well cast with a particularly strong performance from Anna Fraser as Jessica. I also loved the soundtrack (some 80s classics as you might expect!) and the music by Alejandro Villanueva Medina which created a real sense of drama throughout the film.

This was a really enjoyable film to watch with my teenage kids and we were thoroughly engaged from start to finish.

A blast from the past!
hcdmtcq28 February 2024
"Time Rewind" was a nostalgic walk down memory lane for those of us whose deep desire was to be one of "the cool kids" in the 80s! This drama was thoughtful and provocative and captured a mood of a recent era, while still being relevant today. The great soundtrack pulled me in from start to finish. The movie also explored themes of parenthood and relationships and moved at a pacy speed while also allowing time for reflection and curiosity. The intensity was broken up by humour and subtle cultural references from both the past and today. The movie finished with a great twist and left me wondering what is in store in the future.

I loved it and I lived it - the 80s what a blast from the err past!
timhartland-6443130 March 2024
Amazing work Lincoln Fenner it is mind blowing the effort you put into this. The millions of ideas you must have had and how you pushed through an English Covid lock down and made the movie magic happen. Loved the many English scenes and the foot chase scene, also what a mint location for a time porthole. The whole movie was fun and I am still thinking about which is what it is all about !! Cleverly written and well directed, with a high production quality for an indi and great character acting, scenery, and final edits and I could go on. Loved the uk London scenery and shots and the guessing needed until things unfolded. Epic.

Colourful pop culture past meets tech savvy modern day
juliequiltgirl18 December 2023
Great indie movie that transports both cast and veiwer back to a time where culture and youth were a lot more "out there".

Great to see the 80's fashion, and 80's London characters. Love the punks!!

The film shows that the decisions we make at any age have long lasting effects.. It would be great to have a time machine to put things right.. this film though has its own way back... and created good tension in the search for redemption.

The cinematography was epic and the films actor's did a fantastic job in creating believable characters.. ones the viewer could relate too.

Great movie for teenagers and adults alike.

Fast Moving, Many Threads
stevejwickham18 March 2024
From the beautiful, ageless scenery, quality imagery, fast-paced narrative, to the musical score, to the actors--every part of this motion picture--what I loved most is it's worth at least one or two more watches to discover the nuances of the narrative that still had me asking questions, given the genre, time travel. The intrigue value is immense.

Entertaining throughout, and knowing how many re-writes it had given its filming was deep in the initial COVID era of 2020, and the painstaking editing process, I sense much tenacity and vision in its creator.

Well done to Lincoln Fenner for an outstanding movie worth every cent of every second of film time to watch.

Let's try that again
johnwilshusen19 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Lincoln Fenner wore "Many Hats" in the production of "Time Rewind" .

His writing, cinematography and editing Is impressive and would stand him in good stead in any form of movie making, be it indie or blockbuster.

"Time Rewind " is an entertaining, thought provoking and suspenseful ride between the present and the past. Locations, fashion and music make a great Time Machine.

Beginning with a confused father who, through memory flashbacks, realises he must travel to the past. The tension builds as his time runs out to reunite with, and save his daughter. Ending with a clever twist that will leave you wanting more.

The cast was very good, with the father (past and present) and his daughter putting in memorable performances. The villain (past and present) also did a great job.

Thoroughly recommend watching.

Well done to cast, crew, helpers and "Many Hats".

True family entertainment
windjewel-3663917 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Interesting concept with multiple twists and turns to keep you hooked. You can try and figure it out or enjoy it as it unfolded, either way the acting and direction given the budget and what appears to have been filmed during peak COVID restrictions is a credit to the crew.

As a person who has personally endured trauma induced memory loss, the film does well to capture and relate to the overwhelming feeling of fragments of memory returning and disappearing in an instant with no control over their return or relevance.

The inclusion of an incomplete diary made the film feel so real to me I was uncomfortable, however entertained enough to see it through to see the direction it would take.

I thoroughly recommend this movie.

Amazing and fun, with a twist
sean_breadsell9 December 2023
I was privileged to be at the world premiere of Tine Rewind, in the old Luna cinema in Leederville, and very fitting for the style of movie in fact!

It was a really good fun movie for all the family, my wife and two teenage daughters all enjoyed it. With the time travel back to the 80s, there's lots of nostalgic scenes, costumes and the location of the film was a perfect fit.

If you like action, just wait for the awesome chase scene as it will have your heart pumping as if you were in the chase yourself.

A very well selected cast that individually take you through each of their journeys, and everyone can relate to at least one of the characters.

Great work!

Enjoyable and well crafted
middo-6005130 March 2024
Time Rewind is the kind of film that somehow manages to capture the attention and enjoyment of both people who love sci-fi, and people who would normally be skeptical of the genre

As someone who was born in the 80's, I appreciated that this film is filled with nostalgia and some great throw backs to a time gone by.

The movie has clever characters with a mostly predictable, but still surprising at times plot. I enjoyed both expecting that I knew how it would all come together in the end, but still being pleasantly surprised along the way.

One of those rare movies made for all ages that the whole family can, and will, enjoy.

Highly recommend.

Time Rewind- totally "sterile"! 😉
johnanne-marieej16 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Fabulous movie with believable and authentic characters. Such nostalgia for those who grew up in the 80's- loved the sound track, 80's outfits and humorous moments with 80's technology! Well thought out plot with a twist at the end which leaves the viewer with a possible solution to the mystery of an unsolved disappearance. Clever filming considering the constraints of Covid, as well as inventive staging to produce the illusion of space when it was not available.

Working out younger/ older characters between the timelines keeps the viewer engaged, especially when there are 3 versions of the main character present in the same time at one point! And the "aha!" moment when the villain is redeemed brings a sigh of relief.

Fast paced!
zanmac18 December 2023
Well done to Lincoln and all the cast and crew for a great movie that the whole family can enjoy.

Time Rewind is a fast paced, exciting movie with lots of plot twists.

It is filmed in the lovely setting of Hampstead in London. A marvel in it self as it was filmed during covid!

The themes of family, abandonment, time travel, mystery, and friendship (to name a few) keep the audience captiviated and guessing to the very end.

Some of the movie is set in the 80s and it was fun to see the use of some old tech.

I was impressed with the editing and filming of the movie and enjoyed putting the puzzle pieces together to the mystery, as the film played out.

I recommend this movie!

Magic moments
wfam-9341719 December 2023
The elements of this film include a sense of place, nagging and evocative imagery, poignant vignettes and moments that you love to remember, actors that have put their heart into their performances, and a carefully constructed plot. Convincing desperation emanates from the actors and carries you on this strange journey. On the one hand, there's time travel which is pure science fiction but then there's the social drama that the characters go through in their relationships whose familiarity resonates and makes you care.

This is a jewel of a film, made with courage, determination, and integrity.

Deep nostalgia, strong feels
prewire8 December 2023
If you were a child of the 70's this movie will produce nostalgia in droves. Going to see Time Rewind without any real knowledge was the best preparation. I had no expectation as opposed to a huge Hollywood budget overly CGI'd soulless production where you knew it's bland premise and often disappointing storyline before viewing. Time Rewind was a treasure of past memories for myself and drew me back to a foregone era.

I can not recall the last time I left a theatre smiling that much If you get the chance to view this movie, I pray you experience the fun, warmth and intent that clearly is sown deep into thish movie. Great feels all round!

Time Rewind
nwmrdb8 December 2023
Congratulations Lincoln this was a brilliant movie. Seldom these days are se able to attend a movie with a capacity audience which adds an extra dimension to the viewing experience for the audience as you enjoy other theatre goers demonstrative reaction to scenes which brings back so many good memories of days gone by. The casting was perfect for the film as the characters they portrayed came vividly to life. The screenplay was brilliantly executed and so very well complimented through out the movie by the outstanding score. The music through out the movie added an extra depth to all aspects of Time Rewind which we throughly enjoyed. How special was the Q & A which climaxed a great nights entertainment to gain a personal insight into the producers mind and hear direct from the actors.

This is a must see movie.

Limited budget, COVID filming challenges, fantastic result!
nismoau9 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Filmed during London COVID lockdowns and on a limited Indie film budget, Time Rewind tells the story of a father-daughter relationship that uncovers the mystery of a time travel portal and is separated in the process.

With elements blended from popular movies such as Back to the Future, The Bourne Identity and Interstellar, Time Rewind captivates audiences while being shot entirely within the confines of Hampstead, London.

Amateur cinematographer Lincoln Fenner uses techniques found in much higher-budget films to great effect that add depth, realism, and a good sense of character building. Musical scores are used heavily throughout to emphasise the often-times emotional relationship and suspenseful chase scenes.

The actors can be credited with outstanding performances over the ~9 days of filming especially given trying COVID lockdown issues, gathering size limitations and the like.

A family, relationship-themed film that is well worth a watch.

Blast from the past!
yasteel121 December 2023
This movie is a wild ride crossing time and space where it takes you back to the 80s and cleverly positions you in the present moments leaving you to ponder change.....what will be will be or is it? The film constantly positions you where you need to be and leaves you wanting more. Definitely has one of the best action sequences ive seen in a long time and really shows film making skills of a high calibre as this film was developed in the covid era where life as we know it was never the same. Covid allowed for more room to grow, genuine sequences from the uk and allowed the cast to shine where they needed to. Well done Lincoln!
